Anyone know where can I find a dressmaker in Toronto? (not from online)

Thanks! Hopefully a fair one for a fair price ^^

Do you need to find one that is fully articulated (moving legs, arms, etc) or just a cheap busts to measure out a dress form?

Somewhere there is a post on how to make your own cheaper version by wrapping duct tape around paper next to your body, cutting yourself out and filing it with foam to do it yourself and make a realive copy of your individual body.

Mannequins aren't cheap, even the plder crappier versions that look like they went through a war

You may just want to keep your eyes peeled for whenever the next big Fabricland sale is, because their dressforms (which usually range anywhere between $120 to $300) will go on sale as well. And the discount would be even more if you have a membership card. That's the only solution I can see right now ...

If you're looking for adjustable, then try Fabricland or Singers. There was a Singers in Bramalea City Centre that's having a huge sale because they're switching locations, so if you hurry, their dressforms might still be on sale! Good luck with that!

fABRICLAND MANNEQUIN

Hello, I have a mannequin that I bought a few years ago at fabricland...I don't use it anymore and i'm about to place it on kijiji for sale. email me if you are interested. It's an adjustable one.

This thread is from 3 years ago! I highly doubt the OP is still looking for a mannequin.
