gathering?

So....I personally have never been involved in a cosplay.com gathering, at Connecticon or otherwise (in '03 I wasn't a member and in '04 I was limited by having my mom with me), so I don't know how they've gone in the past or if they've even been attempted (I think they have been though...)

anyway, its never to early to start organizing things, right? so what do you guys think about the topic? want to get together?

I don't remember any cosplay.com gathering in '04, actually. In '03, I think there was just one picture of the members together, but that was it. I think it would be a good idea to get the members together this year at some point.

yah, I know with the growing popularity of the con there's tons more members attending (or others like me who are just that new to cosplay and joined since the con!). it would be so much fun! =D

If I was familiar with the new location, I would suggest a place for the members to meet up, but unfortunately I'm not. Does anyone have any suggestions for locations and times of a cosplay.com gathering?

I don't know how this all works but I'm interested in a gathering. I'm only going to be at CTcon on Saturday though.

Saturday would probably be the best time anyway, since most people are there on Saturday. Hm... perhaps we should do something early afternoon then, pre-masquerade?

When does the masq. start? Oh and I already have a schedualed meet-up at 1:00. But if I can't go no worries. I'll just go to it next year. I hope I can though!

On a side note, how big is this convention? It seems like a lot is going on, what's attendance usually like?

Im on the con staff, ill be at the masquerade registrationg desk for most of the weekend(ill have bright red hair) anyways, ill consult our schedule to see when the best time for a cosplay.com photoshoot would be!!!

A gathering would be really nifty. Isn't there an "official hotel" for the con? Why not just meet right outside of it on Sat?

I know I won't be at the hotel at all, since I live about 15 minutes away from the convention... I know it's the same for a lot of CCon goers.
