Red face Fave Part of A-Kon

Okie, since I was unable to attend this year, I decided that as soon as people come home from the first day of A-Kon and then tomorrow and the day after that- I want to hear about their favorite parts of A-Kon and what really cool goodies they bought. ^_^'

So here tis the post for whenever you get to a computor or get home later on today/tonite.

Talking

Me and my friends all dressed as t-shirt ninjas, and when we ran into the Red Power Ranger, we attacked him like the putty dudes in the old TV show. He played along and fought with us and it turned out really fun. XD We did it several more times and it got better each time. Never had so much fun before in my life.

That was y'all? That was so AWESOME. XD No amount of kudos could ever describe the awesomeness.

My favorite part...was just seeing everyone in costume and having fun. That might sound a little generic and stuff, but I'm serious.

I even liked the elevators, ungodly crowded though they were. XD

Well this was my first Anime convention and I have to say my favorite part was all the cosplaying... Its like Halloween but with no candy, I actually was too scared to come out in my cosplay but after seeing soo many well made ones I decided to go ahead with it.

Mine too ^_^

Yea everyone cosplaying was awesome! Did anybody see that Link with Navi? She did a good job on her costume, She also played Saria's Song from ocarina of time!, and there was a Luke Skywalker, he did an GREAt job on his make up, he looked exactly like him. It was cool seeing a Dr. Salvador(from resident evil 4) it was the guy with the bag on his head with the chainsaw. I also had fun playing in the super smash brothers tournament. and i enjoyed everybody going OOOoOOoOoOooHhhhHhHHHH!&*@)*^% in the EXCLUSIVE naruto tournament(or so i think)

and dream was awesome too ^.-)d

Aww, I have to pick my favorite moment?! I had fun all 3 days! I guess my favorite moment was meeting up with all the Trigun cosplayers, and finding another Millie out there (if you're on here, hi again! Next year we can attack each other with our stunguns!). Also watching my sister (dressed as the KH Goofy) run around with a bunch of KH cosplayers. It was the first time she felt that she really stood out as a cosplayer (she did cosplay before, but as Inu-Yasha and Yuki from Gravitation), so she was really happy and I was happy for her!

Favorite part, when the host for the cosplay had to stall for some time and everyone just began asking him some random questions. It was hilarious. That guy was so cool. I just can't remember his name. *sigh*

My favorite part of the con would have to be cosplaying!!! Saturday had some really awesome cosplayers and it was my first time this year, so now I can't wait to dress up at the next con I go to.

That guy was Brad DeMoss. He's an awesome /awesome/ music video creator and has been active in the anime community for a very very long time. I agree. He's an awesome awesome guy. (The AMV maker in me has always looked up to him in that respect as well. XD;

I would have to say that I think the cosplay itself was the best part. I had one friend in my group who didn't know what to expect, because it was her first time doing cosplay- ever. The other was so nervous... but thankfully, she was done with it before we stepped on stage. XD;; We also had an incomplete costume, but... it was all good. We still had fun. <3

Everyone else that was up there was /great/, by the way.

Hanging out with friends I haven't seen since last year!

I also got a great deal on a bucketload of Harry Potter doujin and I found my silly floppy school-girl socks yaaaay! Haven't stopped wearing them -dork- Mmm and the Ramune and blueberry bubble gum, and getting a pack of Pocky for face-painting...

I was also amazed and completely gleeful when people recognised who I was cosplaying as (Abby Sciuto from NCIS, definetly NOT anime-related). So I got to meet some really kickass NCIS-fen and commiserate on the suckage/coolness of the season finale and generally had a blast.

ETA: zomg, how could I forget? I also got to meet and hold and cuddle Foamy! He was behind me in line a little bit for con badges. He gave me Pikachu soap, which I shall treasure foevah. Long live Foamy.

Cosplay/ Cherry and Gren

My favorite part is tied between the cosplay and seeing Cherry and Gren again. I don't know about you guys, but I thought that the quality of cosplay (skits and costumes) was really high! Everyone did a really good job. Also, my group (RANDUM) got to see Cherry and Gren again. That was awesome because they are like our adoptive cosplay parents and they're just so cool! By the way, I was the Uo in that big group of Fruits Basket people for anyone who wants to know...^.^

My favorite part woul be wearing my Toboe costume. I mean, who doesn't love a huge fuzzy wolf thing? No clue how many people asked for hugs, or glomped me, or gave my high fives on the escalator, or just called out, "Doggie!" or "Wolfie!" It was awsome... I'm defenately bringing that costume next year ^^
