Good source for twill: http://www.sewsweetfabrics.com/

Any color of matte vinyl you will ever need (but it's thick and difficult to deal with sewing-wise): http://www.glfi.com/vinylbook_seaquestpage.htm

That print place is wonderful, Aer. Such beautiful black and white designs. <3 Oh yeah, this thread should definitely be stickied!

Does anyone know if striped lycra exists? I need fairly thick stripes. It's for these tights: http://justapplechance.com/juri/ I'm trying not to have to sew strips of lycra together, but I might not have a choice.

If anyone is looking for good low-sheen synthetic satin, I recommend checking out the duchess satin at Fashion Fabrics Club. It's $10/yard, looks great, and can be ironed at higher settings than you might think. I've gone up to wool without damaging this fabric.

This really should be stickied! I've already used it a few times for some friends and I lol ^_^

Maybe we should also expand it to include other cosplay materials like wigs - I see a lot of people asking where they can get wigs online (or is that against rules cause cosplay.com sells them?).
Or shoe websites, like electriqueboutique.com

I found a great site for hosiery. I have yet to order anything from them but will in the future. They have TONS of colors and styles at reasonable prices. That site's perfect for anyone doing a Katamari Damacy cosplay because characters in that game have unusually colored tights. (This is the only place I have found "rubine" colored tights.)

Edited the title... Should I keep updating the first post or just everyone posts their finds seperately here?

Tia: I'll look around for that ^.^

I think that you should keep editting your first post, if it wouldn't be too much trouble. After a while this thread'll get long and confusing to search through (unless we use the search function... which frankly too many people avoid using =_= )

Great topic though~ I don't buy fabric online, but it looks very useful! I think it should be stickied =D
