My Albel Nox (Star Ocean III) costume got confused with Yuna from FFX-2? I think the only resemblence is the hair style (not color) and the hair wraps (which Albel has two of, Yuna has one).

I just tell them who I really am, since I don't think it's their fault. XD

Angel from KoF: since her name is actually pronounced as "anhell" most people called me "angel" like in the english language pronunciation
Bunny Bulma: playboy bunny
Eowyn (LOTR): Arwen
Galadriel (idem): Arwen (ok, arwen is not the only female character ok???)
Julia (cowboy bebop): black cat (where were the ears or the tail? I'm still asking myself that question)
Sadako (Ringu): Samara (the ring) ... ok is the same story but different names... I'm ok with that XD
Sailor Mars: another sailor scout
Sara Mudou (angel sanctuary): Wednesday Addams
Selene (underworld): trinity (the matrix)... as far as I know, trinity doesn't have fangs nor white eyes

Yay Gotham, Lafiel, and EdNChrno! More people who recognize and enjoy one of my favorite animes! (have you seen dvd 6 yet? Eep!)

I can just see CC getting more popular and recognizable right after I decide to retire my Chrono. I haven't yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if it happened.

Haha, we should start a Chrno awareness club. I would love to do a character from Chrno Crusade, but may wait untill it becomes more recognizable.

I feel bad, though, I've done the same. I mistook an Akado Yoroi cosplayer for an Ebisu cosplayer and called him closet-pervert. >>

I think I have the worst one...I went out to an event dressed as Utena with a Touga and an Anthy, and got asked "are you the Bee Gees"? about a dozen times.

Hmmm...this hasn't happened to me many times, just once I think at the Final Fantasy Ball, my Rydia was mistaken for another FF character but I think the person just had names mixed up. ^^; I think Bridget (Guilty Gear) and Rosette (Chrono Crusade) are the most mixed-up characters when it comes to cosplay and generates some confusion among those who don't know how to tell the two apart at first glance.

At Anime Boston I was cosplaying as Sakura in her kitty battle costume and someone thought I was just a random cat girl. Made me feel kinda bad...If only I had had the staff!!!

For Halloween I dressed up as Indiana Jones. I had the brown jacket, the hat, the white shirt, and khaki pants. People had ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHO I WAS.

me: *takes brother and sister trick or treating*
people at the door: "Ohh who are you supposed to be??"
me: "uhm Indiana Jones."
them: "Who?"
me: "Guy from a movie -_-"
them: "But you're a girl. . ."
me: "o.o so? thanks for giving them the candy" *scurries off*

I did a mock "sailor matrix" cosplay in which i wore my serenity dress and my silver matrix trench, and even had my hair up and stuff as Usagi, and people kept asking me if i was just a really dressed down Trinity. the coat's not even BLACK, people...

my faerie costume for rennfest one year got me stalked because a bunch of people thought i was an amy brown art piece...

my schoolgirl Usagi's been mistaken for pretty much every schoolgirl in the book, unless i have the hair.

i KNOW my clock tower 3 alyssa's gonna get mistaken for nine thousand other things at otakon this year...
