Well if you want it easier buy one make it a hight Quality one because it will work out better for you in a long run. Dying is more fro a peoson that is craming and I am assuming that you are doing fine with time considering that you said nothing on the matter in your post.I believe that buying and geling or whatever you have to do would be better in a long run.

Don't gel a wig! please! gel ruins wigs, (sorry I just need to offer this warning) use glue, hairspray or plumber caulk ONLY on a wig. Gel never will work because it uses hair's natural oils to work.

I think buying a nice short orange wig is the way to go, but since you are prepared to dye a wig, that's good if you can't find the right kind of wig. Also check in the wigs and hair area of the forum for directions on how to make wig dye. have fun!

Hmm... the pics look nice. The hair looks really nice. Is it really just dyed? If not, its a really good natural looking color wig.

You aren't too young to start cosplaying now. There's a thread in the general discussions area if you wanna see.. I think that's where it is. I started cosplaying at what?.... 8 or 9 years old. I didn't attend a convetion until I was 13 years old. So don't worry, lots of kids younger than you cosplay and go to conventions too.

Aww... well... a more natural looking orange wig would look really good, especially if it was like that girls wig. And... if you are on a budget.... and a bright orange one is all there is at that price... then it still wouldn't look bad if you styled it nicely. It'd be nice if you could find a good natural one at a good price. I know there's lots of people out there that go for the bright orange look... but I really like a more natural looking wig for him.

Sometimes... natural colors are more expensive. Sometimes the colored wigs are more expensive... it just depends where you look.

If you want to dye the wig the to a color you like... get a lighter color thats in the same spectrum... it'll work better that way.

I got my Henrietta wig (for Gunslinger Girl) for about $12 plus $6 shipping on ebay... I think it was from Hairmenow.... or something like that. Cheap but good looking wigs. There's other good sellers, but this one might be the cheapest with good quality wigs.

I hope you have lots of fun at your first convention. Hopefully you won't go alone, its funner for me to go alone though... but eh... safety in numbers when your younger ^^;

Hehe i'm just thinking about getting like a natural colored wig
and just planning on dieing it orange b/c it think those rreally bright
wigs looks kinda of bad..And this is my first time cosplaying and hehe
i 've never styled a wig before so hopefully i won't mess it up ^_^;;;

Ohhh any tips on a hakama ..you see my friend and i are going as Hanatarou and ichigo hahah but were missing a Ganju =O but thats ok.hehe But me and her are having problems with the kimono since yeah.
I sewed some parts but were toally clueless on how to sew on the collar?
And the hakama is a completely different story.
Ohh and what kinda of fabric would be good for these kinds?i'm using like a thin White one and a thin black one so it won't be so hot would that be already or would everything be see through???aww i hope not T.T

Um...for the hakama, make sure you pleat it, since I think they're supposed to be pleated. For the white kimono, you can use pretty much any white fabric you want, since it goes underneath the black one. I'm in the process of making a shinigami uniform, and I used white cotton broadcloth for the white kimono.

I've been told that a polyester blend of at least 50% polyester will do well for the hakama, since it will hold pleats well. But I asked someone at my local fabric store if a 55% linen/45% rayon blend would hold pleats, and she said it would since there was more linen than rayon.

Also... here's a link to a page with lots of Bleach cosplay info:
http://www.livejournal.com/community...lay/10799.html

I hope I was able to help ^^;

I think you should cosplay whatever character you want. You'll be happier that way
