Is it too late to do a Soul Calibur II cosplay?

If not, I am concidering cosplaying Xianghua. Only problem is, I don't know what costume to make! I'm going to Otakon, I have about a month and a day to make it. Ideas? Suggestions? Anyone cosplay her before who would like to make suggestions/hand over tips?

This is the HUGE Soul Calibur II Thread...I have cosplayed as Xianghua but I did her 3rd player outfit. The black dress with the flower details. I basically looked at screenshots of the game to get the details. If you want help with the thrid player outfit you can ask me. I made mine in about a month before Otakon last year.

i did xianghuas 2p costume (the blue one) but im redoing it for Kumori Con (in sept).. email me if you have any questions about this costume (i should have some of the pictures up in my gallery but i dont know the link.. sorry)

I've done both her first and second player outfits (the white/purple and gold/red ones) from SC2 (pics in my cosplay.com gallery). The second player one was MUCH more time consuming due to the different types of fabric involved and the applique/paint. With the time you have, I'd suggest going with her default instead of 2P, but it depends on how efficiently you work. =) If you have any specific questions, shoot me a PM and I'll try my best to help you out.

Best advice I can give you is to take your time looking for clear reference shots or, if you've got the game, make good use of her profile! There are a lot of differences in the details of the artwork and those in the game, so pick and choose which ones you like better. =)

Im working right now on Xianghua's alternate red costume. It consists of a really complex top. I wanted a challenge, but if your a newbie at sewing and making costumes the black dress she wears (3rd selected outfit) would be more easier to create and not so time consuming.
