Eurobeat King Presents: Dragon-Con 2005 Pictures

Hey everyone,

Back from another wild-and-crazy year at Dragon-con, and I've started to post my pictures. I post in the order that I take them, so here's the gallery to Friday's pictures:

EBK Presents: Dragon-Con 2005 : Friday Pictures (still adding more!)

I'll hopefully finish Friday's pictures by tonight or tomorrow, and then start on Saturday & Sunday's pictures. So if you're wondering where they are, please be patient and they'll ALL be up within the week. I appreciate your time & patience as I post the pictures during the evenings (past 7pm PST) after I return home from work.

My apologies if I missed your costume(s) this weekend, and it was really busy during the weekend, so hopefully you'll return next year or attend another convention, and I intend to return in 2006 so perhaps then I'll get your picture(s.)

For those of you I did manage to take, thanks for posing, and feel free to use them for your cosplay.com galleries or web-sites. Any credit you can give me for taking the picture(s) would be greatly appreciated. If you would like LARGER-SIZED pictures of the pictures that I took of you, feel free to send me a PM and tell me which picture I took of you, and tell me what email to send it too and I'll do my best to get it to you ASAP. Also, if there are any pictures that I took of you that you somehow don't like and want removed, please let me know which one(s) and I'll gladly take them down, but hopefully you'll like all the pictures that I took of you. Thanks!

Enjoy, and I'll see you all next year at Dragon-Con 2006!

Fortunately & unfortunately, I chose to not watch the masquerade this year but hung outside the Hyatt lobby and then went over to the Marriott lobby when they were having that nightly ban of photography on both Saturday & Sunday nights.. So my apologies if I missed your costume. Were you part of that Moulin Rouge group on Friday night that assembled in the Hyatt lobby? I know I got group pictures so hopefully you were in that group..

Satine, if you're the Satine who performed the medley in the Masquerade (I think you are...right?), I just wanted to say great job: you looked fantastic and you were very entertaining.

And Eurobeat King, you're more right than you know when you say it was both fortunate and unfortunate that you missed the masquerade...some great bits and some that...well let me put it this way: they didn't use a giant hook to pull the bad acts off the stage. They had a stormtrooper escort the duds off in mid-act at blasterpoint

PsychoShinji, I'm almost sure you were the Shinji I took a picture of on Sunday afternoon at Dragon*Con (I was in the Chris Redfield costume...kinda looks like GI Joe). I'm uploading my pictures tonight, if it was you let me know if you'd like a copy The costume was awesome btw...even the brain-plate thingies were detailed and looked accurate...no clue what those are called, still very tired from the trip, I'm just going to go with brain-plate thingies

I had a lot of fun this weekend again for the 2nd year in a row for D*con, and I can't wait for next year to come. Sadly, I won't be attending AWA this year (I had a LOT of people ask me during the con) since I have Nan Desu Kon in Denver, CO in 2 weeks, and then Animagic in Lancaster, CA 2 weeks later. It's really tough for me to do 3 cons in a row, esp. flying to 2 of them back-to-back. But I'll see you again at Katsucon 2006 if you're going. Enjoy the pictures from Saturday & Sunday when I post them!

Looking forward to seeing more pics as they get posted! I finally got to say hello and introduce myself to you after you snapped a couple of pics of me.

I was the Satine in the Black Diamond at the Moulin Rouge group on Friday night but I don't think I was around when you were around.

Bevandera, Satine wasn't the Satine in the Masq as she hasn't been able to come play over with us yet (she's in NZ). I actually missed the performance in the Masq and I would have liked to seen it! I know the two other girls who had Black Diamonds costumes but I dunno which is was in the show yet.

My costumes were (heehee, if anyone cares):

Friday day - Black and Red cotehardie (medieval gown)
Friday Night - Moulin Rouge Black Diamonds

Saturday day - 'Just Breathe' gown from Ever After (with feather wings)
Saturday night - Dark Phoenix

Sunday Day - Dark Phoenix
Sunday Night - Mina from Bram Stokers Dracula or 'The girl in the big red dress that looks victorian but I don't know what she is from'.

Anyways! Looking forward to and planning for next year already!

Danka for the pictures Eurobeat King. I can't wait to see the rest of them. And it's probably a good thing you didn't go to the contest . . . they did something terrible . . . but Evenstar1 and I are going to post about that later. In the mean time, thanks for actually recognising my Schrodinger and Nall cosplays (that means so much to me *^^*).

crimsonvision: I hope I got pictures of your costume, and if you remember me asking you to take them, then I did.

adakie: Thanks for liking the pictures. Please post in the other thread "D*con feedback/did you like the con?" to tell your thoughts on the con.

Tasukichan: And don't forget about Sunday's pictures too! But Ayane pictures come first!

It was nice to meet you Eurobeat King. I met one other person from the site, but I dont remember her name.

I cant wait to see your pics of me and my friend. The Gungrave Costume took alot of work and I have to admit I was really impressed that it was that cool. Being the only one there made me happy too.....

YAY for pictures!!

Yeah, pout. Unless someone sets up a travel fund for me to get over there I'll never be attending.

It's still fabulous to see piccies. I'm just eager to see the masquerade entries

Eurobeat King I have to tell you, as I did before when I bumped into you friday, we couldn't have fun without your mad photo skillz. You are a great guy and myself, as well as those there at the con and those thinking about next year, appreciate your hard work and devotion. Pictures for prosparity and memory to look back on years later and see how much fun we had and how kewl we looked. Once again, from a Cobra Trooper, "Thanks man!"

Thanks for your compliments everyone! I do appreciate your feedback & comments on the pictures while (or after) I post them.

UPDATE: Done with Friday's pictures, and have started with Saturday's pictures, starting off bright-n'-early with the pre-Dragon-con Parade pictures, and then the parade itself. It's hard to get group or solo pictures of everyone before the parade, especially when people are trying to get the groups organized, and you don't want to get hit playing frogger going back n' forth between the streets to get pics of the Star Wars groups on one side, and the other groups on the other side..

So enjoy, and keep checking here as I u/l Saturday's pictures:
