I do believe that I'll be heading to Shamaim, the Israeli restaurant on the 29th. Not sure about the time, but probably 7ish to give those of you who went to Comiket time to change and shower or whatever if you wanted to join me, my bf, and whomever else decides to come.

Mini article about Shamaim

Another mini-review, but it has directions

Shamaim is a vegetarian restaurant so if you're not a meat-eater, no worries!

PM if you want my cellphone number and/or email.

Oh a vegetarian restaurant! I didn't think Tokyo had them! Being vegetarian is SO freaking hard in Japan, I have had to explain that yes, sausages do have meat in them, so no I don't eat them. eek.

I might tag along *ponders*

Anyway, I'm going both days (shinkansen to skiing place was stopped), only cosplaying on the 30th due to my costumes being on a ship to Australia at the moment.
I hope to see many foreigners there!

Oh! One bit of (very) last minute advice for those who're gonna spray their hair...
do it BEFORE you get to Comiket. They don't let you spray your hair there...as me and Tsumanne discovered at natsucomi.

How was it for everyone who went today?

I know me and BurnSizzleMelt got a lot of attention! A coupla magazines took our pics...and Fuji TV filmed us!
We spent most of the time having our photos taken and I didn't get chance to take many of others...
I'm not cosplaying tomorrow, so I'll take lots then.

Unfortunately I didn't find anyone else from cosplay.com...not surprising with those crowds though...

I didn't cosplay today, am tomorrow. Was it packed or what?!!! In the cosplay area before lunchtime there was an average of about 4 people per square metre. Every step you took you walked into someone, or infront of someones camera.
I left early in the afternoon to make some final touches on my costume (i.e. sew it together). The skirt sucks majorly, but 仕方ない.
I saw about 8 foreigners all together, none of them cosplaying... *sigh*.
I did have quite a few conversations with some of the Japanese girls there. One of them whispered "国際協力!" behind my back which I found quite funny for no apparent reason.

Look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow (or not...)

Yah, I'm not all that surprised I didn't see any of you. That crowd was just *insane.* I was amazed that my friends found me at all!

Anyway, I had a wonderful time so far. I've uploaded a few photos on my blog:

But I seriously need to go sleep so I can get ready for tomorrow. X-D Hopefully I'll catch some of you then!

So what was the best costume everyone saw?
For me it was a cyborg woman...complete with small panels missing so you could see circuitry in her arms etc. Her body was partially skin and partially metallic and she had about five cables/pipes coming out from her back...
it was absolutely the best costume I've ever seen!
I'll post the pics in my gallery soon.

It was today...though the poor lass musta been freezing since she was sat on the ground most of the time. I only saw her briefly and snapped 3 or 4 shots. I tried to find her again to show some friends but couldn't...
I'll post the pics soon
What was the best you say Emeraude? Did you cosplay today?

no u.u i was very very sad because i didnt bring any cosplay from mexico u.u..... and i didnt have time to make one here in japan, i should have brought one u.u but i didnt know i was going to go to the comickey (i even didnt know about the existence of comicket o.o) so, the nearest "cosplay" i had was a mexican dress o.o..... so this is not anime...or manga... or video games... or movie so i didnt cosplay that day.... but the girls of trinity blood were perfect, their costumes*** they were shiny *_*, and i saw a kakashi that was incredibly perfect, he looked like the real one, and the asuka outfit was really well done, but she didnt wear a wig u.u

you can see my mexican dress here;
http://images.cosplay.com/showphoto.php?photo=554309
do you think i should had worn it?
