Costume Judging
I just wanna get something cleared up. For the Otakon Costume Judging. Does it matter if you made the costume or not? Or does it just matter if you look the part?

If you are going to do costume judging, yes, making the costume yourself is mandatory. I'm not sure if Otakon allows purchased costumes in their competition for skits these days, you'd have to check the rules on that. But if you're going to have your costume craftsmanship judged, they are judging how well you made the costume - so if you didn't make it, you're therefore naturally not eligible.

Its a hall costume contest o_O The quality and the work that went into the costume is the whole point. The person doesn't matter so much as the costume. Its not like Ms. Teen USA or something.
