Have you tried sex/fetish shops? They always seem to have white, knee-high boots. You may also try looking for white rain-boots.

For the white things on Trucy's cape (where the card suits are printed on), I plan on using Iron-ons. But just out of curiousity, how large did other trucy's make this? I'm thinking somewhere along the lines of 7 inches long and 4 1/4 inches wide, but even then it looks on the small side... Ideas?

Trucy's cape is supposed to have 9 of the white diamonds I believe, but when I used measured out nine of my own- they were huge! So I made my diamonds roughly 8 by 4 so they kept their tall shape, but used 13 of them instead. Most people like theirs bigger it seems, but I like my petite ones~
I think I have a pic of my cape in progress somewhere, if you're interested. But right now it's off to work with me~ |

hey guys. I'm working on a vest/cosplay for someone, and I just need a bit of help!
For Godot, what colors are his shirt and vest? They seem to vary in every picture and the game LOL

Thanks guys for sharing what you guys did for the Trucy Cape.
@Cloaked: No problem, I hope that helps. @BoredHorror: That is so beyond awesome, you have no idea. It really is. @Anyone cosplaying as Trucy: Did anyone else as many problems as I'm having trying to make Trucy's buttons? I've managed to make one. The others are either totally demented looking or the wrong size.

Well what I've been doing is using a tool to push the clay up to make the 3-D effect. And it sounds like (but I'm no clay expert here) that you might be baking them with too hot a temperature. Try lowering it a few degrees when you try it again.

Start with a chunk of clay about as high as you want the diamond to be, then cut the sides out from there.
I found it worked well for mine. |

I saw some earrings while I was out shopping the other day that looked just like Trucys buttons. I think it might have been suggested before, but why not alter something like that instead of clay?
