I'm pretty sure someone already asked for help with a Hector (FE7) cosplay, but I can't find it >3>.

Anywho, I've got the whole costume done, except the trim around the armor. I made the armor out of craft foam.

Anyone have a suggestion?

Hallo Sirk! I'm making Marth's out of craft foam as well ^^. For the trim, you can lay down another layer of craft foam that's cut out thin so it appears like an outline of the armor, so it's raised. You can touch up on the ends to "bevel" them and put the smaller details in with dimensional fabric glue (also found at most craft stores), and seal and paint over the trim accordingly.

im post on the forum for ACen to see who all got my pic i think there were like 30/40 people that took pics or wanted to pet my tail lol i THINK Takemaru got a pic of me i have NO FACE shots in this cosplay UGH i love my wig and headband...

I wish I was there for all the action. But I thought it would be too embarrassing to wear Ike in its current status, and at the same time, I felt bad for missing it. Forgive me.

I wonder, does anyone cosplay as some of the more classic Fire Emblem characters like say Sigurd, Aless, Selice, Julia, etc. from FE4 or say Alm from FE2 outside of Japan? THat would be something so see old school FE characters being cosplayed in America.

I haven't seen the other older FE characters done yet (minus 1 and 3 obviously), I think it just mainly stems that those games so far haven't debuted outside of Japan still (even as remakes), nor even have properly translated patches for the original Super/Famicom games ^^;;. If I ever try to play another "translated" rom again I might cry ;;; they were FULL of garbage text ;;;.

Regardless, they still need their share of love! Unfortunately due to said reason ^ I'm not very familiar with the characters so they haven't been on my list yet.

EEEK!! thanks i havent been able to find many of me at all cause there werent that many taken no one knew what i was from but EVERYONE wanted to pet my tail!

So WAY, WAY back I had said that my friend and I were going to do a Raphael/Naliah group for an October con, but then it came to our realization that I couldn't afford the $150 or so of JUST feathers and fur, let alone the materials, wigs, etc. [*sadface*]...

So we switched to a Sanaki/Almedha match [kind of a long story on how we ended up on those two, mainly dealing with what kind of fabric I could actually find as opposed to what I wanted to appear out of thin air]. But the October con came and went, and things didn't quite work out. Now here we are with a con in little less then 2 weeks and guess which costumes we're picking back up? [Luckily I've already graduated and have all the free time I need.]

So here's progress on the bottom dark red band at the bottom of Sanaki's long cape. I didn't really want to do any bead work, but since I screwed up with the sewing machine foot and the tissue paper, it looked kind of sloppy and needed something to freshen it up a bit. Now that I remember all of what I learned back in October about the embroidery, the rest of these will look 1000% better, but alas now I have to bead the other 10 or so of these to keep in uniform. :/

Keep in mind this was snapped with my cellphone so the colors are off.

I have more progress that isn't really post-able, but you can see the purple cape part here.

I also wanted to say that you guys have made some rather fine costumes, so hopefully I'll be able to contribute in the FE love. :]

I really should keep track of forums better... I can't even remember the last time I posted here.
