Favorite Costumes?

Everyone has got to have a certain cosplay/etc that really stuck out at them. Something that they'll remember for a good, long while. Something so interesting that they're nudging at their friends and pointing.

Well, for me, my favorite costumes that I saw at AUSA were:
- The Akatsuki group. Incredibly bad azz.
- The girl with the Pokemon armor.
- Lulu, Auron, and moogle. ;3;
- Willy Wonka. - While there was more than one there, I don't know how to single this guy out. He sat behind me in line for the masq and was completely hilarious. He was way in character.
- FF:Advent Children cosplayers - all of them. In particular: Reno, Rufus, Kadaj, and Yuffie. I fangirled, I admit. :P
- Ed from Bebop - Best. Ed. ever.
- The Ghost Busters - 'nough said.
- Chrno from Chrno Crusade - I think there were two, that I remember, but one really stuck out to me. She was unbelievably gorgeous.

So, what was your favorite cosplay from that weekend?

-That one wedding Yuna I took a picture of. Her costume was absolutly beautiful.

There was a lot of great costumes, and I didn't get to see many or take that many pictures.

Cosplays that really stood out to me:

Asuma - Naruto (you hardly see anyone cosplay him, he's so underdone XD)
SnJ Zabuza - Naruto (very original, i've never seen one done before)
Heartless - KH (The one in the full mushroom head plush like costume LOL i dunno how to descrbe it)
Willy Wonka - Johnny Depp version (same one as Kakashi/Overshadow mentioned)
Ghostbusters - ...duh where else from? (omg i loved their backpacks)
Sephiroth - Advent Children (omg he was sooo nice and his costume rocked hard!)

I still demand a video of that Auron chasing his little moogle baby. It was teh cutest thing EVAR.

Other cosplays that stood out:

Willy Wonka: He was SOOOO nice, and we made friends. And he was friggin' awesomely in character.
Star_angel's Zoicite: SHINY ARMOR OF D00M! the costume was just...wow.
The Kadaj with the ringtone. And his costume was bada**
The Sesshomaru. Her costume was...just jaw droppingly good.

I loved Tess' wedding Yuna. Simply wonderful. I also liked Star Angel's SM cosplay. Rock on with your bad self!!

And my ever so cute Ainsyle as Yachiru from Bleach. :: pinches her cheeks:: Your Soi Fong luvs ya!

Edit: I'd also like to add the 3 ladies that were part of the walk-ons for master level. Gorgeous!!!

Anyway, my favourites... The Kadaj, of COURSE. His contacts were completely wicked and his ringtone almost made me weep. ;_; Yaya's purple and black gown was even more amazing in-person than in pictures; I think I spent more time drooling over her beadwork during my craftsmanship judging session than talking about my own costume. It's always lovely to see Parasaur as Robin, Spooky as Claus, and Bagu as Darcia, as their costumes completely rock. LOVED reiayanami's Kingdom Hearts group -- you guys made me cry with your arrangement of Hikari, and your costumes were incredibly accurate. ^___^ And the male Kisuke cosplayer that we shared pizza with, heh. He was so much fun. AND THE LITTLE BOY IN THE LUPIN SKIT, quisuioakalkwdhwhkjnawwwwwwww. *dies of cuteness*

But really, there were just so many costumes that I was floored by. It was great to meet everyone. XD This was my first AUSA and it was by FAR the most entertaining con I've attended. So much fun!

Hmmm... gamergirlx's Deidara, visulstimulation and Andariel's Kadaj and Yazoo, and Yachiru definitely top my list.

My favorite costume would have to be the Kadaj from Final Fantasy VII: AC. He was just sooooo cool.And his costume was amazing.

Willy Wonka - Same as been said. I have a video of him reading from a card! XD Sooo in character, I love it!
Yachiru and Soi Fong - AWESOME costumes. GREAT hair! =D
FMA Photoshoot - You guys rule! =D And dude, the Scar and Hughes.. They were practically perfect! Looked SOOO much like them. ^^
Aya and Daishi - ...Okay, so Teej's a friend of mine. Still, awesome costumes. XD And much faux yaoi!
The Ghostbusters - ...Light up packs. You can't get cooler than that.
Barf from Spaceballs - ...Okay, maybe you can get cooler than that. XD Hail Barf!

all One Piece/pirates- (i was one of them) we all did a really good on our costumes
All Naruto- they were really good too
Fruits Basket- i love my Kagura ~^^~
Ghost Busters- my dad loved them even thoguh he wasn't there XD

So many great costumers at this con and I didn't even have a camera, i'm rather disapointed about that. It's hard to narrow down what my favorites were because there were quite a lot of nice costumes around. I was just absolutely thrilled to see someone dressed as Mylene Jenius from Macross 7 for the first time at a con, kudos to them for bringing more Mylene into the world.
