I have never cosplayed myself. So far, I've only crossplayed. I find it a lot more fun to dress as a male then a female, because I'm a female everyday.

That's so cool. I'm glad someone else thinks like me. Someday I'll cosplay a girl. Honestly, I just don't know what girl to cosplay as, all I can think of is Intergral from Hellsing, but she's already overdone..Not only that she looks like a man anyway..

For this year, I'm doing Harry McDougal from Outlaw Star.
Future plans include Vicious (Cowboy Bebop), Dilandau (Escaflowne), Sesshou-maru (Inu-yasha), Illapalazzo (Excel Saga), and Jinnai (El Hazard). It's going to take a long, long time, but hopefully they'll turn out well.

For my sister's first con, she's doing double crossplay: Gourry dressed in drag. ^_^
