My cosplay list is too long... I need to lock myself in a room and not leave until I've made about... 40 costumes?

It just clicked with me that it's Novemember and I haven't started Refia yet... Or even really decided if that's really who I'm doing...
"Refia! But, I promised myself I'd do Princess Tutu... or maybe Da Qiao... or maybe..."

Whoazes, when did we break 1000?
I tend to pop up occasionally then vanish for months. Fair warning.

"Any problem can be solved with some sort of pin. Safety pins, bobby pins, any pins; anytime you have a problem, just use the corresponding type of pin!" - My friend. Not a cosplayer, but wise indeed.

Tsuruya is turing out to be deceptively hard, especialy when it comes to the white parts on her back becuse YOU CAN'T SEE THEM, ON ANYTHING! I couldn't even find them on pictures of other characters in the same outfit, so there has been a little guesswork;
I picked a possibility for them and ran with it, looks good though.

I really need to get some money so I can get registered for a couple of cons next year before badge costs rise any higher. I also need to get a couple of bolts of muslin for mock up for next years costumes. I could kick myself for not getting the muslin sooner really I could.

I need to go fabric shopping yet again. Gah, too many costumes! I need patterns for two of them, too... I'm not even sure what pattern to use for Zelda, but I think a LOTR one might work. I hope.
Cosplay 2014:
Princess Bubblegum (Adventure Time)
Marceline (Adventure Time)
Suiguintou (Rozen Maiden)
Twilight Sparkle (Princess - My Little Pony)

Rest to be decided.

I think the "L" cosplay from Death Note is overdone. I hope not to see any more "L"s for a long time. Thanks.

...I just had to take Kohaku off my list, >.< But it's for the best. That's something I can work on as I go--to relax and take it piece by piece (not that it's difficult, I just can't afford wings right now).

BUT On the bright side I think I chose my school, I just want to take care of some gen eds down here because between the comm college and the art school, there's about a 150 buck per credit hour difference, XD

...but I can totally make everything on the rest of my list, XD Provided I budget and plan plan plan like mad. For now--got to get things straightened out at work, since I'd like to take care of a majority of the gen eds the school requires so I'm saving money (cause I'm cheap).

So yeah, costuming taking a nose dive but for things I'm really aching to make. Right now, the list is now down to four over the next year, all evenly spaced out so I can afford them. Possibly one more but I highly doubt it.

I'm also going to start doing test paintings on materials for Haydee (Gankutsuou) to see which works best for her trademark stained glass gown. That way I have her to work on slowly all through school (which would be around 3 years) if I wanted to.

I just recently found the characters for the Metrocon Anime Human Chess Match. Now I want to audition for the part of San(Princess Mononoke). And I'm waiting for more info on the Mascot tryouts~

OK. Now I'm REALLY glad that I held off getting third holes in my ears for an additional week. It didn't strike me until Hallowe'en, where I was spirit gum'ing and liquid latex'ing elf tips to my ears that I wouldn't be able to do all that with fresh piercings. (that said, I'm now unable to wear Curucar until said holes are all healed up now)

Ugh. Paint, dry faster! I want to wash my shirt. Now.

And I hope no Squirles(sp?) land on the table. If they run all over my shirt, there will be hell to pay.
Con's for this year:

I couldn't get much done for Agito today. Well, the only things left are the collar, hemming the upper skirt (the one that's attached to the top) and sewing the laces and pearls on. Both, laces and pearls, haven't arrived yet. So umm . . . o.o guess I will be stuck on the collar. I hate collars. They ruin every costume for me *sobs*

Mad Moxxi - Borderlands

Bought SOME of the beads for SSC today. Why do I have so much trouble finding simple things?

Also bought the toy gun I'm going to use as Minato's Evoker >:-D! I've sprayed the primer on it, and now it turns out I need more silver spray paint. The gun itself is a bit too small, but it's the only one shaped that way that we could find which wasn't some expensive airsoft gun!

Currently, my thought is this:

"I hope I can afford to go to these conventions."

"I hope I have enough time/funds to make this costume..."

I'm currently planning my year-end spur of completion of costumes and photo shoots. I feel bad for my costumes (Yes, I do) that have been only worn once and aren't even finished with all the details, so I'd like to give full appreciation by completing all and retiring them in preparation for the new spawn of costumes next year...

♠ Lelouch Lamperouge - Ashford Uniform ll Code Geass [80%]
♠ Akira - Military Uniform ll Togainu no Chi [80%]
