I made a record number of costumes for myself this year. And I'm very excited. Yet, I had to miss two conventions and I'm worried I may not make the first 2 I have planned for next year. >.< And I'm making more costumes, despite this worry! I think I'm crazy, but I need something to keep me busy and distracted.

&^%*ing final exams have to start the last day of ACEN, so my plan for actually going to a convention at which I am not working has now been scrapped.
 Curse you, Slavic department, and your uncanny tendency to have exams at the worst possible times. On the plus side, I have succeeded in my quest to make a steampunk costume for <$20. w00t! |

I have a Dressform!!
 It's my birthday gift from my family. I named her Lust. Now I'll be able to get decent pictures of my costumes done, and I can finally get working on the commissions that are piling up. |

Ow. owowowowow. My feet are killing me, and my back is sore from my binding. But, Nekocon was a blast. Tsukasa went over well again, and a couple people actually recognized my Akane. I wasn't expecting that. Need to hem the dress a bit more, though. While the length looked nice, I kept stepping on it, and that was quite annoying.
...Now, to plan for Ikkicon and possibly Katsucon.

Must find someone with power tools. Must also learn woodworking, fiberglass, etc for my Harkonnen and Mugen's sword. The Harkonnen is coming along rather nicely so far, I have all the main parts done. That damn sword is a mystery though.

Is it ok to cosplay a character just because you like a their outfit? I've never played Final Fantasy, but I really like Summoner Yuna's outfit. Songstress Lenne's isn't that bad either(and I think I look like her just a little bit).

I'll probably end up cosplaying her too - a friend of mine wants to cosplay FFX Rikku, and since I kinda like Summoner Yuna's oufit and weapon, I told her I'd join her for a FFX group.
