The more I think about just forgetting Ohayocon and wearing the Katamari Damacy prince costume around town for the sheer hiding-behind-anonymity heck of it, the more I like the idea. I just wish I could install a hidden camera in it to capture everyone's reactions.

I think it would make for great deadpan-style humour - have some silly comedy characters performing a dead serious Shakespearian segment, or even just a slight parody. Just imagine Hideki and Chii from Chobits performing the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet. Hideki with a serious look on his face, "But soft! What light through yon window breaks...it is the East, and Juliet is the sun!"
And Chii's response from the balcony: "Chii." -Tenebrae.

Heeey, some helpful people posted in another thread about making a lining for a jacket, too. I think it might have been in a thread I started about suit patterns. I wasn't sure why some of the suit patterns were average and others were advanced and thought the difference might be in the lining. It was something in the last month or two. I'd search, but I'm feeling lazy/sick right now...but not too lazy/sick to read and post on here, of course.

I hate ruffles!
Sorry had to say it again. I also hate my computer. It's gonna take 130 dollars to repair. They have to do a memory wipe and reinstall the OS because there are too many viruses on it to fix. I also want them to back up the system before they do that. It'll take me a month or two to save enough money for it and during that time I probably won't have access to my reference pic plus this cuts into my con/cosplay fund. Argh!
