Hnnnnn. I need to fix Flandre's wig, make the weird random blunt clumps look normal, but I'm scared of messing up more ;-; You can't really tell unless you look closely but uguguguguh...

So I had to rip out all of the stitching and fix it. >_>. It doesn't look too bad on the outside but the inside is quite a mess. Oh well, at least no one gets to see that but me. I'll finish the rest of it tomorrow though since I'm exhausted from getting the other pieces done.

I feel like I haven't done much today. But I'm determined to finish the tailcoat by midnight, which means I have to finish this at LEAST by ten, but ideally at 9:30.

Working on my portion of my groups crossplay panel for the next few upcoming conventions (Sac-Anime and SNAFU-con). We're very much looking forward to them since this is the first time we've ran a panel.

I am SO slow with this blouse; I haven't even started my tailcoat and I leave in 18 hours and still have to clean the entire basement. (I have scraps of fabric EVERYWHERE.) I'm not too worried about this one, though, I'm fairly certain that I can finish it. I just don't know if I can finish or even START Wedding Miku, which is a shame because I really love how I did the wig for it......maybe I'll bring my sewing machine to the hotel.

While I'm glad the blood bank managed to find a vein this time so I could donate, I wish it didn't leave me tired and sore-armed and disinclined to work on sewing. And as a bonus, I appear to have lost one of my notebooks -- the one with my notes for the armoured cosplay I'm supposed to have done by mid-September. FAIL, SELF. DX

Here I was thinking that there weren't any cosplays I wanted to do enough to actually make them this year....boy was I wrong. In one night, I've now decided that I need to do Elizabeth from the upcoming Bioshock Infinite, Alice from Alice:Madness Returns, and *maybe* Fleur Delacour's pheonix wedding dress from DH Part 2...oh man.

;_; Otakon... So close, and yet so far. Dad being out of work = no excess money = no con. I loved Katsucon last February, but it seems that I'll have to wait for next Katsucon before I can go to another anime convention. The boredom, it hurts ;_;
On another note, I feel like I should make props or something. I feel awkward planning to buy cosplays online. Someone else in some factory overseas is doing all the hard work for me. I've got to put effort into this somehow, or I'll just feel guilty ._. But where I failed at making my own cosplays, maybe I can succeed at making props! I'll definitely try~
