I'm really happy-I just finished Spike Spiegel's jacket and it came out great!! Now I just need to whip up some pants and the shirt and cosplay done! I think this is the quickest one I've done so far. Now this weekend will be filled with lots of prop making...

Tho, my sister kept commenting on the dress, and it was really funny. xD I'm glad she was such a good sport to help me out while she's hosting a friend from out of state for the next two weeks. Said friend got to see my room, too, and was surprised that I'm into anime can cosplay. Apparently I don't give off those vibes??

I'm bringing Panty because I can't bring Yoko. It's too expensive to ship my rifle back and forth for Aki-Con and Sakura-Con (I'm flying to Seattle for both trips). I have a pattern I could use for the jacket, and I could just use the gloves for Bro. I'd need the pattern for the shirt, I was planning on getting one like that anyway so it's no big deal there. I'd just buy the wig and ask my friend to style it so it be awesome.....

Sewing machine crapped out on me whilst doing stretch stitching last night. DX Five times I rethreaded and adjusted and five times it jammed within about three stitches. Never happened before, but at least it worked fine when I changed stitch styles, and at least that's all the stretch I need for that costume.

So now I have handsewing again. Hurrah!

Hopefully my father will be available this weekend so I can borrow his electric jig saw. Otherwise, I have no idea how I'll manage to get these blades cut out without hurting myself. T_T

Four pairs of baseball pants almost done. The piping isn't completely exact, but it's close enough to pass. You would think that a major league design would be easier to recreate. And yet...

Made some real progress on Grell's chainsaw yesterday. Today is looking like a lot of sanding in triple digit temperature (that's 38-39 degress Celsius for you non-American folks. ). Oh well. It has to get done and it's not cooling down any time soon.

So... I'm back home again. But it's almost 11 p.m and I am suoer exhausted because I got to be at around 4-5 a.m this morning <.<

TOMORROW I will work on cosplay. Either my Oruhacosplay, or my wip-costumes.
And I am still debating whether to registrer for the con now, or save the money for wigs.
Only safe thing is that I reeeeally want to cosplay Jade (Harley) @_@

Hm, we have a fox that keeps coming in our garden, might be amusing to watch it play with our dogs' toys again whilst sewing on my cosplay.

That's awesome. All we get is a hedgehog! v_v

Not that I don't like them, but it only comes out at night and the only time I've seen it, it was out in the day looking very confused.
