I LOVED being Dave, so much so that I'm considering making him a staple cosplay. Nice, easy to wear, not quite as popular as Gary but I like that anyway and everyone I met who likes Homestuck was awesome.

Baggier clothes look even worse on me ;A; they take away any body shape I have and turn me into a blob monster. I loved cosplaying Jade and all but all of my fattiness came out. ALL OF THEM. And what the bloody hell was going on with my hips >:I

I am not at all into Homestuck, but you look amazing as Dave. (And suuuper cute as Jade!)

Seeing as I now do not have the time or money to do a new proper cosplay for October Expo, I've been trying to think of cheap, crappy costumes to do.

A while back I got a Shinku (Rozen Maiden) Pullip and made a video of the box opening, and a bunch of random people commented on the videos saying that I could be Jun due to wearing a ring, blue hoodie, etc. So I am so, so tempted to jump on that. >:B

I've got fairly suitable glasses, my hoodie isn't accurate but WHATEVS, and I'd need to buy a wig and beige trousers. Then I just need to carry my Shinku around.

...Sooooo tempting.

Two thirds of the way through. I managed to finish up all the fronts and start on the backs before bed last night. Probably would have gotten further if I hadn't had to recut fourteen pieces because the first pass came out too dark ... At least after dyeing I get to go back to power tools!

Edge-slicking with the dremel, yay!
I can't believe this project is finally coming together, but oh god I have about a month IT BETTER BE COMING TOGETHER. T____T

... why do I only ever manage to work under time crunches? DX

I'm okay with Homestuck going on a break for a while, it means I can stop having those miniheart attacks and get nothing done when I see a new update! :,D My heart can't handle Homestuck all the time.

Also, I want to make a dress. Like a big, poofy princess dress. This may be because I don't really have any costumes lined up to work on, but...
