I wonder what I should cosplay for Halloween this year? I know I can't go all out like I usually do, since I'm going to public school now... somehow I get the feeling making something as big as my Mii cosplay and wearing it to school wouldn't go over too well. >.>

But at the same time, Halloween's my favorite holiday. I need to find the perfect outfit to wear. >.<

I need to decide whether or not to bring my Sakura cosplay to college... I would leave her home, but my school's Japanese Club does a Japan Night every year which is basically dinner and performances; the last part of the show is a fashion show, which also features cosplay. I might be in it this year, and since Diva!Miku needs repairs and a new wig, Sakura seems to be my main option.

The problem though is bringing it back home for cons and whatnot. I usually just bring home a duffel bag and not pay to check a bag on the plane, and my cosplay takes up the majority of that bag (damn petticoat xD). Which for weekend visits isn't too much of an ordeal if I bring it back with me, but I'm worried about the staff. :x It comes apart in two pieces, but the wings would be crushed in that bag (if it even fits) and I'm worried about security getting all uppity if I put it in my other carry-on to go under my seat. o-o; It's just made out of a dowel rod and foam, I think... I wonder if it would be an issue at all. D:

Welp. Found nothing for Matryoshka Len. I did find hoodies, but I really want to use a sweatshirt for him, so I don't mess up the ponytail in the wig. No makeup, aaand no money for gloves, and my granma used the cardboard boxes we found. Dangit. XDD

Bright side: 1) I have Blue Exorcist now...so if I need a new solid idea, Rin's always there. ouo and 2) Okay, my aunt came with us today, and I figured I'd keep it on the DL about cosplay since she's a dedicated and conservative Christian. Well, we got to talking about it...she didn't say a single insult about it. She admired that I only used my money, and enjoyed the pictures of costumes I had, aaand when I told her about snarky people at the mall, she just went on a rant about close-minded people.

Five ideas came into my head at once.

1. A group cosplay that is literally a group cosplay. As in, a group of people cosplaying as one thing (like the cells in a body). Life-size Sin (FFX)!

2. Everyone in a convention cosplaying as the same person/from the same thing.

3. A cosplay war, with sides, and battles, and power struggles, and politics... laaaawlz.

4. A re-enaction of a game/anime in all of the con. For instance, everyone dressing up as every character from a Final Fantasy game and just standing around like NPCs, while the main character goes around and interacts with them.

5. A big cosplay (con-wide) musical.

...*sigh* I wish we could actually do things like this.

Found a pretty good suit jacket (mmm, ASDA <3), a white tie and looking around for a black shirt. Other than that, I have everything for this... looks like I'm MAKING THIS HAPEN against my better judgement.

...I want my cosplays!!! Nao T_TTTTTTTT one is in florida and the other is in China... This is one of those times I wish I wasn't such a cheapstake and just paid for faster shipping.. I'm usually just fine with waiting for wigs! not so much with the outfits...

Patience is a virtue.

Besides, you will get them. Hey, cosplay is expensive enough, so choosing the slowest delivery to save on costs shouldn't make you a cheapskate.

I took my Fem!England base wig and trimmed it it so it would match my other blonde cosplays planned for Aki-con. At the last minute a few days ago, my cosplay group sent in a panel submission. So on sunday I'll have to be in two cosplays for the panel. I'm going to be teen!Peter and Teen!Gilderoy, I'm just going to switch the ties since I don't have time to order a wig for Peter and style it. Its a HP gameish panel that has everyone from James time.
