I've decided that I'm going to be making the servant class cards from Fate/Stay Night...just because. XD The only problem I'm running into is the back of the cards. I found the front pictures just fine, it's just the back that's giving me trouble. >_<. I really don't want to have the backs be blank but I can't find it anywhere. I wonder if there's a chance it would be in the artbooks... I doubt it though.

That would be awesome! I see very few Maximillian cosplays. Most Valkyria Chronicle cosplays are of the two main characters. The full Gallian militia squad 7 is also rather underplayed.

You know, I was a little lukewarm about the designs when my group was looking at the artbook. Then they turned to the page with Maximilian.

It was like Romeo and Juliet, if Juliet was a blond guy in Romanesque white and gold who wanted to crush the lives and souls of spunky, rebellious villagers.

If I start now, I could have Maximilian done by this time next year. Because it's going to take that long. >.>

I blame those damned, beautiful artbooks for starting these shenanigans. I only hope it will turn out as well as our rose-tinted cosplay glasses imply.

But I don't have any stupid-elaborate costumes. Sounds like a fine justification to me. XD

I picked up one of the games to give it a try. I imagine it will take at least a year to gather materials, money and the time. My sister has already decided on Maximilian and I'm pretty confident I'm crossplaying Selvaria, crazy sword and shield and whatever tank we happen to decide to turn my car into. Already took the tape measure and starting gathering dimensions.

I think my group is insane...myself included.

I'm stretching myself way too thin costume wise...Way too many projects I want to do but not nearly enough time. Especially since I have only two months to get the costumes I'm bringing to the con to get ready and finish plus the two pieces I've been commissioned to finish. Gah! Not enough time

Oooh, my Eternal Sailor Moon shoes came in the post today (that was extremely quick, two days it came since ordered!) Was hoping it would be my Mint Arrow (from Tokyo Mew Mew, as I collect the RPG toys), but now, big squishy package and my boots in it

I'm really enjoying using the Gingher rotary as it made it so easy to cut out the pattern. If all goes well, I may just end up starting to sew tonight!

I cut my wig and styled it the other day using my boyfriend's head for the measurements. I have yet to try it on or see how it looks with the rest of the cosplay. Makes it even worse that I'm no stylist or anything since I really had no idea what I was doing. :| Maybe I'll try it on tonight and see how the whole get up looks now that it's finished.
