Somehow, looking at my wings, it looks kinda like crud from behind...
Still, I'm pretty proud of it but I need to make it look better from behind. I got a couple of ideas that I think will work, hopefully.... On the other hand, I was able to blast through my jacket and keep in line with the planned time of completion. I still can't understand why the sleaves on my lining always comes out perfectly when attaching to the body lining while the shell still sucks hard arse. 9-10 hours straight sewing with meal time breaks in between.

My Mio wig arrived~
It's not a very nice wig, but it's the only one I could find in the color and length that I wanted. So it shall have to do. I did a bunch of cutting yesterday, but I still have lot's left, it's time to tackle the bangs! |

During class, I drew out a quick schedule of the weekend, and boxed off when I will work on each part of the costume. I also threw some blocks in there for the various homework assignments that I have let pile up on me.
I only have a week until the con, so I can't let this go any longer. Hopefully it will all get done, and I can stop worrying. |

Now that Megacon is over, I can start on Kairi! But I still need to make Yuffie's shuriken first...well I have until June, but hopefully I won't procrastinate again. I'm going to ask my mom in a week or so to take me fabric shopping (don't want to ask right away since the con was just a week ago).
I also realize that when Metrocon rolls around i'll be bringing..probably at least 4 costumes..which is alot for me since I at bring 2 to a con (well lately, only one). But a few of my costumes I have only worn once! So I think after Kairi (or Kiki) I won't be doing any more new ones...or so I say...the temptation always gets me..>.>.

I don't think this fabric is going to take the dye. Bah. Maybe I could get some ply dye in brown and just water it down a helluva lot to get the same effect? Hmmmm......

Just finished pressing the dress hem and sleeves on my Schala dress, restyling my boyfriend's Magus wig, and he's fixing up the pendant wiring. Then we just have to get ourselves all ready for the masquerade and get to bed by 11. Yeeeek, now I'm all stressed out. X_X

Ordered more black rhinestones for Miku, and placed a bid on a new white polo for Tintin since I accidentally bought the wrong size last time. Starting to wonder where I'll find his shoes, though; hopefully I can make a trip to Goodwill soon!

*opens bag with Inukashi wig in it and stares in horror at the tangles* Well I got most of the tangles out. The bottom is very fuzzy and icky looking though. >_< I'm hoping running the straighter on it will help but I don't know. Well it's Inukashi so I could say she got into a fight or something. Still wish it wasn't so fuzzy though. :/. And I have to make my sister put on the wig for Haruka so I can cut the bangs.

Forty minutes of handsewing between morning break and lunch, and I have 27" of this final row of lace sewn down ... on one side. I forgot how long it takes. Guess this should keep me busy for the next three weeks of work breaks. XD
