Finally ordered my fur and wig for San.
 I also ordered a new wig for Miku, since I'm not particularly happy with how I cut the base wig.Damn, Charissa-KIDS is more expensive than I remember. I bought a short wig from Fantasy-Sheep for San for $30 (incl. shipping), but my Miku wig was $42 (incl. shipping). Rest in peace, my dear wallet. ;________;

I finally got the fabric for Riku's vest! *Flails* So I'm hoping to work on it next weekend since I'm going to be traveling this afternoon through Sunday. It's about time!

Last night, the girlfriend and I wore Kotetsu and Barnaby to the last karaoke night at a favorite location (it's a goofy venue, another dude's shown up in a Spongebob costume at random, so no one minded) for crazy video antics, and I wound up singing a song with this other girl who had also been planning on singing it as a tribute to the DJ...
To the point, after we sang, my girlfriend got up to do her song, and the girl I'd been singing with was all "That jacket... That chick has the coolest jacket, I want to ask her where she bought it." And I was all "....Eh. Heheheh. Uhm..." Since Barnaby's jacket was a total rush job and I'm not entirely happy with it, it was nice to find out that at least according to a non-cosplayer, it looked like a professional job.

What in the world am I doing? >_< I'm actually planning on how to make Calne Ca's legs and arms of doom right now. I kind of said I wanted to make it as a joke but here I am actually seriously thinking about it. Price wise this thing will be a monster but it just looks so epic.

I'm starting to remember just why I hated ebay in the first place. I just got my Mami wig today and it was a BROWN color, instead of the golden blonde the seller advertised.

Made progress on my panel, so it should be ready for Sakura Con without a problem! My friend and I just need to do a run-through to see how long it lasts, since we took out some of the material I included last year, and I'm worried about it being too short. Might have to bring some of that content back.
Miku, on the other hand, needs progress... badly. x___x; I've also been buying a few Tintin books on ebay; have to be able to get into character and be more familiar with the series! c: This weekend I'll be fabric shopping for his pants, as well as some fabric to start on Pinkie, as I'm hoping to debut her at Fanime. Unfortunately, Bronycon plans don't look so good at the moment. x_x;
