My Lin Xiao Li cosplay outfit, and I'm going to go on Arda and order my wig soon! I'm so happy I found the perfect shirt today at the mall!

Sadly they only had one of the purple shirts though (yes, the shirt is purple, that room just has bad lighting) or my friend who's going to cosplay Jenos would've bought one too since we need the same color shirt.

Still Freaking proud of that tie. XD

This is the guy I'm cosplaying BTW: Lin Xiao Li

Just her casual green version, it seems easiest, and it's my favorite version of her : )

Haha thanks for your concern! :3 I had actually already sewed them on when I had posted that. They actually turned out pretty decent (I really don't sew. I have no proper training, I just do it. xD); there was only a little bit of puckering.

In other news, I just got home from my first convention. Aaah, it was so much fun! I had to talk myself out of spontaneously buying a wig, and now my friends and I are already planning cosplays for our next con. I'm stoked.

The new wing structs I will be using for C2E2 came out better than I had expected. Too bad it isn't ACen safe. I'm working on the ACen wings currently and just have to make the necessary cuts for the module to connect the lowest part of the wing.

I'm certainly excited about the C2E2 wing struct to be debuted since there was an unexpected effect with the modification of the lower arm that makes it look even more dramatic. Oh, they're in for a show!

Note to self:
Buy an orange shirt at Michael's at sister's birthday party
Pick up a pair of earring hooks for Shadow Minako earrings
Actually cut the wire for friend's Gatomon tail today.

Oh no I keep cosplaying from everyone in my house so ordering things can be a pain. I generally write off the things I get as other objects but I was crunched for time and it says that 3 things for my Link cosplay are "out for delivery" today oh geez this will be interesting haha

I wish I could go to C2E2! I went last year, and it was a blast. Too bad my sister doesn't live in Chicago any more.

I'm debating on if I want to make Beatrice's full gown for a fall con and if I can even do it. I have a pattern that fits the top perfectly minus the extra poofs in the sleeves. It's that over skirt that's going to be a pain. I had actually contemplated doing an extremely formal version and hand sewing golden beads on the skirt to make the patter but I would die lol.

That would be a wonderful costume! I love Beatrice's dress!
