Sigh, here I was hoping to be able to go to Miami Comic Con, but I doubt that's going to happen. I probably won't have nearly enough money by the end of this semester to be able to go. As it is, I don't think I'll be able to even buy Gakuko's wig in the next Arda sale - which I suppose is fine, I don't need it till spring... But it's a disappointment. I was hoping to take Melfina out for another spin sometime soon, possibly Zelda. At least I can go to the Zelda concert in Miami...

Oh thank goodness, Im finally done with the tedious part of Pegasus' jacket: sewing the bias tape around the collar. Now all I have to do is add the stuff around the cuffs and sew the buttons on the front. That can wait until morning though, since it took longer for me to finish the damn collar than to watch the movie DX

So it looks like there's a photo of a bedazzled Miku figure that surfaced recently.

Now, I'm not sure when exactly that happened, but come on, I totally did it first.

I now feel the need to one-up this and add even more rhinestones to my fabulous ensemble. Curse my perfectionist, competitive nature. So much for retiring Miku, hahah.

Man I am going to go broke from rhinestones.

Heated craft foam and shaped it for the first time today. I think I was afraid of the flame burning me than the craft foam. I wonder if this will work or should I just use wood or something for the wings on this staff.

uuuuurgh, WHYYYY does Quorra's armour have to have such a ridiculous pattern to it? There's so many fiddly little cuts and pieces and raised sections and seams that overlap the lights and shoulder seams that are on her BACK and a weird collar...... My brain is yelling at me that it's going to strike if I keep trying to make it understand this. X_X

Yup! I've got a few of those like that, although the ideas don't always work for both my husband and I. My husband can keep pulling out Walter (Hellsing) for decades so long as he keeps his hair long, but my ability to keep doing Seras probably won't last too long past 30. Similarly, I think my ability to pull off Olivier from FMA (one that's on the kinda-want-to-do list) would be best aided by another 10 years of age. I think my Madame Red one is one I can easily pull off till I'm pushing 40 so long as it still fits.

I know as long it fits, nothing's stopping me from costuming certain characters when I'm older, but it's nice to feel like I'm pulling it off.

Finally bought the third to last piece for Pikachu! Goddddddd. Never again will I style my own wigs or do gijinkas.

But now I just need to get some old Converse and figure out what color the vest should be.

Gah, my motivation to finish Saber is drifting away on the wind. No, no no. Stop it brain. You cannot lose motivation to work on Saber now. I put way too much effort and money into this already. >_< I know you want me to do Bacterial Contamination instead but I have to finish Saber.
