That seller is really great to work with, they asked my opinion on what colors for the gears I wanted (bright vs dark silver) and sent me that compilation picture of all the possible combinations to choose from.

Also, if I you can navigate TaoBao (I have no idea how~), I found this on Tumblr a while back. Maybe they have other ones available?

Ah, I think I'll be going Saturday, as Len Kagamine. Due to not being able to afford to stay in a hotel, I can't bring more than one cosplay to a con. (I get jealous of the people with huge lineups, xD)

Yeah, I stink at navigating Taobao. I attempted a search a while back to find Ophelia on there but nothing came up. I guess I'll just wait until the seller, hopefully, opens up to do more of them.

Yay for me remembering to send pictures in to FMAnime to get a discount code. 5% off a purchase huh. Well, there's that Kyoko wig they have that I've been eyeing. Sadly it doesn't discount much but at least it's something.

After re-attaching the soles of my Kohaku boots, I decided to wear them to school.

...Halfway through my first class, the sole flops off again.

...I put gorilla glue on that thing.

And they looked exacty like Kohaku's boots too! So now there's another $20-something dollars I don't have that I have to spend before AUSA. Plus still have to buy my guns, some makeup for my scar, a Labcoat for Hatori and a sweater for Gin. DX I hate being broke!

AWWW YEEEAA, today I got home early so I tried on my upgraded Hijikata (Hakuouki) cosplay mostly to do a make-up test before the event I will wear it too. I took a huge leap for me today. I registered for the Masquerade at Ohayocon. I've actually got an anime/manga character (Wolfwood (genderbend)). It'll be in the "Found Item" category since the only thing I'll have made for her is the Confessional. But it's still competing. I'm hoping it will help me deal with being on stage and get my courage up for maybe entering From the Page to the Stage at Dragon*Con next year with Dawn.

The only thing keeping me from freaking me out is the fact that I don't have to do much while on stage.

Ended up ordering a cool pair of clip on headphones for Minako(it looks like the school logo is on them!) along with a pair of nice lace accented arm warmers for camellia gumi. Screw the fact it isn't accurate
It is pretty! I also started the final center design on Saber's shawl. I forgot how annoying chain stitches are.

That's why I loved those boots so much, since they had those buckle things exactly like his.

Hmmm....if I start saving my money now, I *think* I can actually afford buying all the items I need for my Kyoko cosplay. Actually, if I can find majority of what I need at Goodwill, or on-sale at Wal-Mart, everything should be pretty cheap, and I could wear it as soon as PMX!
