Really tempted to do a Vocaloid cosplay in the future but they are so overdone. Ugh.

Maybe when I'm like 30, I'll attempt Hatsune Miku or some other Vocaloid.

This weekend, time to thrift for pieces for Aya Hoshino. I hope that my friend and I can get a photo with Chris Patton as Rei Otohota and me as Aya for Kollision Con.

Currently focusing on Jem since I'm getting his wig this coming weekend. After that, I'll be indulging and commissioning quite a few things :P

I think I'm going to wear my Homura costume out to the mall and fabric store today.

Because I need to try and do some fabric matching since the collar is way too tight and I'm planning on taking it apart and trying to make it about an inch larger.

And both zippers are obnoxiously visible and so I'm going to rip them out and replace them with discreet zippers. (This is actually becoming a lot of work for a costume that was supposed to be quick and easy for lounging around a small con...)

And I need to find a headband that looks good with the costume and decide what color I want the jewels on it to be.

And also I need to get purple paint for the stockings that will look good with the purples already on the costume.

So clearly this warrants me going out in costume today.

Also, a cosplaying friend of mine is meeting me at the mall and she wants to see the the costume, and maybe I can convince her to be Sayaka or Mami~

Dang Joanns. You had to send me so many 50% off coupons. -_- I wasn't planning on going but I could pick up fabric for Pascal's scarf along with another bottle of modge podge and some more embroidery thread. I probably will have enough time to hit up the thrift store too and see if I can find a jacket for Kyoko.

I hope this doesn't jinx it but maybe, just maybe, I might be able to finally do the bias tape on my vest for Kohaku, since I don't have any essays to write tonight.

OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!! I think I'm going to be able to go to New York Comic Con!!!!!! I sort of just realized that it would be feasible because I don't have any classes on Fridays and it is the first weekend of fall break, so I'm pretty close to NY (compared to were I usually live) and could totally get there! Then I realized that Saturday was sold out and felt really disappointed until I saw the retail sellers and found a place 10mins from a friend who could buy a ticket for me!! Now I am just trying to figure out where to stay and who I can go with, but my mom is already partially convinced that I can go for at least a day!!!!!!!

AAAAHHHHHH SO MANY FEELS!!!!! (and I'm going to a Purity Ring concert tonight, so this is all way too much excitement =D =D =D)

If I start the mock up for my Talisa costume right now I might be able to finish it by January. Between con I'm staffing, con I"m attending, in laws visiting, friend moving to the area crashing with us, and the holiday season family obligations, probably won't have much time for sewing.

I found two perfect yellow pieces of fabric for my Cremia and Romani cosplay for me and my little niece but now for some reason I can't seem to find the fabric for Romani anymore!!! :O Why do things like to disappear on me as soon as I decided to start working on them ;_;

On a side note I found the perfect wig for my Orielle cosplay but I need money!!!! Q_Q

I am insane. Yesterday I realized that finishing off my G.I.R. (dog disguise gijinka) will cost me less than $20. I'm going for it this weekend. I'm hoping between Goodwill and all my coupons and sales I'll be able to get everything. I have no idea when I'm going to wear it. But at least it's just adding a hoodie to the mix.
