Got a half metre of neoprene for twenty bucks (seriously, I needed maybe an eighth of it but I couldn't get any less) and a couple of feathers...now if only I could find some fucking PLEATHER. Everything is either heavy as hell and can't be used for anything worn, or isn't stretchy in any way (and I need some legit stretch pleather and the rest with a LITTLE snap).

The only successfully thing I've done for cosplay is make my to do list grow! T_T For Kawaii kon I need to get Hijikata, Jin, Claude, and now Slade done. But before that I need to get Hatori, Saber, and Seymour done.
Why do I do this to myself? T_T

HUZZAH! The wig and wefts I ordered on weds arrived today!! The wefts are absolutely lovely. *keeps petting them* But the scruffy is oddly flat. Nothing a bit of hairspray will fix, though.

So I'm trying to make a shirt like the one from House of Holland that HyunA wears in Gangnam Style. Not sure if I should make matte patches from prints and felt (like the badges on my S.M.S. jacket) or shiny embroidered patches, since it looks like the bingo balls are printed directly onto the fabric. Help?
(if it wasn't ~247k KW, I'd just buy the jumper lol.) Forever21 has the PERFECT pair of shoes for HyunA, too, but I don't want to spend $40 for a pair of shoes I'm going to paint and wear only for cosplay. T___T Been thinking about cosplaying Fuu from Samurai Champloo lately, too. Probably going to add to my list for later projects.  EDIT--whoa, my profiles here and on ACP are seriously out of date. I have practically no shots from Sakura-Con and Kuroneko-Con posted. .____. definitely fixing on Monday.

I'm wondering what's the best way to get a deep orange/red circle onto these or these considering I'm a very shaky painter. I'm very reluctant to commission someone for something as simply as painting headphones, but it may well come to it.

My Heroine wig has been shipped! 0_0 Dang, these wig companies ship fast. I also found someone on DA who makes beautiful Magi metal/household vessels and I contacted them hoping I would get a commission for Morgiana's bracelets. Hopefully they will get back to me soon.
