I made an annoying discovery last night. Michaels will take competitor's coupons, but they will only allow you to use on 50% off coupon period. It doesn't matter if it's theirs or someone else's. They have joined Hobby Lobby on my list of "Only go there if I have no other choice". Jo-Ann's is so getting the majority of my business now.

Of course, properly indicating what's on sale would help that.

I'm taking a flight back to my hometown tomorrow(I'm on Holiday break) and I'm cosplaying there on the 23rd.

I have a question:
My wig won't melt in the check-in luggage, right?

Morgiana's bracelets are currently being held in customs. T_T Whyyyyyyy. Ugh. Can they somehow make it through by tomorrow? Please?

My cosplay room doubles as my spare bedroom. In about... three hours, my brother is coming down to go Christmas shopping and is spending the night with me.

A couple weeks ago I was frantically finishing my Queen Frostine costume and the general manager at work's King Kandy costume down to the wire, more or less pulling an all-nighter right before the holiday party. I made both costumes from scratch in about... a week. Around working 40 hours at my job. And lo and behold, my cosplay room got more or less trashed! Because who has time to put away anything when you're on that kind of deadline?

And now, two weeks later, lo and behold, my cosplay room is still trashed!

"I don't think I need it cleaned unless stuff is on the bed" my brother said. D'awwwww, he is finally becoming a thoughtful human being! Or just used to the fact that I live in perpetual chaos. .-.

Anyway, I had to explain to him that I do actually need to clean the room in order to have enough floorspace to put down the futon so that he will actually have a bed. Also, there is glitter and open safety pins and a scalpel point exacto knife and maybe a steak knife lying around on the floor. Along with probably 7 different fabrics and paint and three kinds of glue and ribbons and my petticoat and all the other stuff that makes an appearance when you work on cosplay.

So. I have three hours to clean up everything before my brother gets here.

When I was a little Kid, my mom would never let me watch Sailor Moon for reasons I don't remember. 13 years later, my 23 year old cousin has gotten me to watch it because she said she'd totally cosplay Sailor moon and wants me to be her Tuxedo mask.

So apparently I'm married to my cousin now XD

Funny because my little niece and nephew will be cosplaying from that series, my 5 year old nephew will be the "father" (Tuxedo Mask) of my 8 year old niece (Chibi Moon) xD

Why don't I have warmer cosplays for winter time? Oh well, going to man it up and run around outside in shorts and sandals!!!! XD

This time I swear I'll finish. I think I mean it this time....This is the story of my life right now.
Also I'm almost finished with Yu Yu Hakusho, and I can't decide who to cosplay! Cosplayer problems man.

Haha, yep ^.^ I'm planning on bringing some pants to wear over the shorts when I'm heading there, but chances are I'll be too lazy to put them back on when leaving the con or getting food XD

I'm also really tempted to take some pictures outside. It'll totally be fun! XD

It took me almost an hour to pack my street clothes while it took me 4 hours to pack my costumes... *derp*

A really fast way to clean that would be to use a fairly high powered magnet.
