So I discovered today that when I don't get enough sleep, my face goes into a default expression of cynically and slightly sadistically smirking, and it was freaking out my classmates.
I told my friends that when I cosplay Sakyo, someone has to wake me up very early so I'll make that face xD

Dang it. The price for the VLR watch went up to $20. Yeah....no. I can't pay that much for a watch right now. I really need to go thrifting this weekend to see if I can find some usable shoes for Saber and a blazer for Chizuru. Have to get those cosplays done. >_<

I am getting impatient. Mostly because at this point, I'm just waiting for both kimono and hakama to arrive for Kenshin and there's really nothing I can do until then. I mean, tomorrow, I get my color samples from Arda, but after I narrow down the colors, I'll be left with nothing to do... again. And I want to do something for cosplay soooo bad. Especially knowing I'll be working on nothing for the next year.

Ugh Varaform. I just continued working on the head piece for Veran and I got the shape down, but the curve is still off just slightly. I'm sure it won't look bad and no one will notice but I needed it to be curving back towards me perfectly. I'm sure I can readjust it easily with some more varaform but I'm already trying to figure out how to balance it on my head aside from elastic going under my chin. Might need to pin it into my head lol

I've been on the biggest Tolkien kick since The Hobbit came out. I'm working on a Bilbo costume right now, and because those movies had the sickest design team ever, my research is leading me to soooo many distractions, and I came to one conclusion: Elrond is a stylish BEAST. Everything he wears is beautiful, and nearly every garment features a new technique I wanna try. I feel like I'd look like a damn fool if I tried to pull him off. I'm shaped more like a hobbit than an elf.
But, but...silk! Velvet burnouts! Complicated piping! DO WANT!

Proper casting resin is AMAZING. Like, it actually does what the bottle says it will do. *stares death daggers at Castin' Craft brand*. If I manage my time correctly, I can cast 3 trophies per day, instead of one every 2nd-3rd day. EXCITE.

Oh my goodness... I was on YouTube watching a video I was in. Someone commented that they loved the Derpy cosplayer, so I replied thanking them and telling them that I was the Derpy.
And then I was proposed marriage to. Jokingly, of course, but still. Wow. My ego has been boosted tremendously. XD

I just purchased my shoes for Stocking. I'm pretty happy with them, they look as close as possible to her actual shoes that she wears in her Angel form.
My Kaname wig is in major progress. I got a Midnight blue Luthien from Arda and I'm currently working on the bangs and straightening it out. Unfortunately, I can only work on it while I have rehearsal and that's only every other day. I made a steamer, a make shift wig stand and used some of the tools they had back stage to start. I've only gotten a quarter of the wig straightened. http://i50.tinypic.com/35a3de0.jpg So far so good.

the waistcoat for murarisuto!shige arrived but the back is black, not pink. sighs. looks like i'm sending that back and i'm probably gonna have to find a commissioner. which is probably also gonna be the case for chirarizumu!shige too. ughhhhhhh.

Even though I really love Flaky I'd never thought I'd love cosplaying her this much! x3 Annnnnnd I'm going to have a Happy Tree Friends cosplaying group! I hope to soon have pictures of us dying in many different ways!.........(that sounds a bit weird xD ) But also have HTF couple pairings!
