This gathered skirt will be the death of me... I ALWAYS break the thread and have to start over! I can't figure out how to make the longest stitch on my machine any longer, and I can't seem to find any other easier methods. Zenkaikon is in a little over a month and I promised myself that I wouldn't be working on this at the last minute. Now I'm not so sure that'll happen... o.O

I cannot wait for our refund check to arrive! It'll probably be next month since they're delaying taking tax returns that have educational deductions on them. :P But, once we get it, I'm going shopping! I'm going to get what I still need for my TOS Science Officer, make an Inverness coat for Harry, make Haruko's cuff and get her a baseball t-shirt, make Dawn and Pirogoeth's skirt, make some "arms" for Death, and finish up Shigure. I can't wait!

Lately I've been wanting to make pajamas for cosplay. Character themed just because I can. Fun and cozy :3 Also, why do I always want to work on cosplays that I'm not wearing to cons soon. Knock it off brain, I need to finish the cosplays I'm working on first!!!

Oh those are pretty! <3 *way too scared to wear contacts* Oh and just as a random note, it is possible to have violet eyes. Very, very, rare but possible.

I'm trying to not get my hopes up, but I think I might have some money leftover after getting all of the things I need for this year's cosplays to get the wig for Isanami. Really crossing my fingers on this one.

Honestly I was hesitating for the longest time too! Especially thinking I wouldn't be good enough at taking care of lenses because it seemed so demanding/complicated etc but lolnope, here I stand now, doing it! xD

Oh yeah I read something that "true" violet-colored eyes occur only due to albinism but some shades of blue can appear violet in certain lighting or something.

So, random quick question that I didn't really think needed a thread...

Does anyone know how to get weird smells out of shirts when a washing machine just won't cut it?

I went cheap and bought the shirt for my Ryuk cosplay from a thrift store, and it's fine, but it smells like lipstick and old ladies and I can't seem to get that smell to go away, and I certainly don't really want to wear it for a cosplay because then I'll smell like lipstick and old ladies -.-"

CRAP. I just realized I don't have a cosplay for Sunday of AnimeNext. And I FINALLY got around to watching Fate/Zero. And my brain is telling me to cosplay a casual female Gilgamesh. It is plausible to get it done and it shouldn't cost a lot... DANG IT BRAIN. You stink. T_T

Wait. Scratch that. I might be going as Minako on Sunday...depending on if friend wants to. Poopy... Might still throw it together anyway for a backup. XD

I've always wanted to do this..I might end up doing it for Gumi. She's the only one of the characters I cosplay right now that isn't shown just wearing a dress shirt to bed xD
And...YES. I need Ririchiyo ready in a month from now for Momocon and my brain just keeps wandering to everything else x.x I still have to get my grandmother to adjust the jumper, too.
..and then I make myself want to take pictures as Ririchiyo. Go self :'D

I cannot tell you how much this post confused me because my brain is still a bit fuzzy from the entire weekend-long Persona 3-a-thon I had going xD My character's last name in that is Izanami, so I was like, wait, femMC?! Yay! Wait! That isn't her name. Aww. D': But you are anyways at a con so yay! XD
I'm thinking I'll do Aigis if I do a Persona 3 costume. I tried on the wig for Minato and it looked pretty bad, but I did try it on without makeup on, so that would probably help. Either way..I know there's a couple doing Akihiko and Mitsuru near me so I'd like to cosplay with them sometime...not sure when though..as always. Seeing as another friend of mine (who lives MUCH closer) wants me to do Roxas again so she can do Xion. I'm so torn. x-x;

I wish I was there! D: Ken-kun! I actually was in Vegas a week or two before a con last year(can't remember the name of the con off the top of my head. >_<). I wish there was a magical portal thing that can bring all of us Persona cosplayers together.

Also does anyone know what the bracelets/necklace Gilgamesh is wearing are called? I KNOW I have seen them in stores but I don't know what in the world to call them.
