*takes out camellia flowers I made wayyy back since I can finally work on the hat* Ack, they look icky. I don't like how they look at all... I can't remake them though..I'm going to have to make this work somehow.

EDIT: Well I put the fedora together. It looks okay if I do say so myself. Although I did leave one flower off so I am trying to decide if I want to make a ring or something out of my leftover flower. It might look nice...

Cheers for the saving grace of Saturday and Izaya. I got to Hobby Lobby tonight, and I am now the proud owner of twelve feet of fur trim. Turns out all I had to do was offer the right man a trade. In exchange for driving me about, all I had to do was show him where Goodwill was and fix his socks.

*YES* So for the past couple of weeks, I've been working on crafting the arm and leg hair/fur things that Black Cat has ... and I've FINALLY got ONE done XD

Granted I have to do 3 more, but at least one is done, lol ... besides I at least have the others started, 1 of them is pretty close to being done, and another one right behind it, but that last one I haven't done much to at all ... I would LOVE if I could get them done on Saturday, I would be one happy person, lol.

So after having had it for about a year, I'm just now getting to work on my Hachi-Hachi Len kimono.And after not having seen it for so long, I forgot how beautiful this thing is.

My mother seems to be under the impression I can manage to to sew it together and the lining in one afternoon, however. OH MUMSY. I'll be very happy if that's the case, but I doubt it. :/ Whatever the case, Len needs to get done before I head off to Japan in May, else he won't be done for the con in July since I get back mid-June! D:

Bought more stuff! WOO STUFF.
Craft foam. I am learning the wonders of it. However, I didn't anticipate using it, so in my mind all it means is MORE WORK. But it'll make it look much better in the end. At least...I'm hoping.

I really want to go work on it, but 1) I can't find a paintbrush or sponge to use for the mod podge and 2) I'm so exhausted that I feel like I'm going to fall asleep right here, right now. I should go to bed. -_-

I want to work on paper-macheing my lead pipe, but I messed up my wrist and can't do much at all with it.
It's so close to being done too, kind of.
I just, really want it finished and out of the way, I have a tendency to forget that it exists.

I might forgo the felt covering on the hilt of Richter's axe. Trying to get it fitted exactly around the detailing I added...ugh. In hindsight, I should have done the felt first, and then the extra detailing.

Oh well. It really won't be noticeable to anyone except myself, so I suppose I'll choose a more reasonable method.

Related: I should be able to pick up a wooden sword this weekend for the base for Mani. Should be considerably easier/faster than Sol was. .-.

I just ordered my Kuro Usagi/princess bubblegum/Anis wig!!!! I'm soooo happy that I'm finally going to be getting something in the mail again! It's been so long! :'D

And then very soon (okay maybe not that soon xD) but I'll finally get to order my Stocking Anarchy wig! I'm really scared about that wig because it'll be suuuuuuper long! But I love it! I'll be doing a lot of casual outfits for her! Then I'll most likely make her school uniform and then her gothic lolita dress next! I promise to post pics when I get them! (I'll be a camera whore xD)

Seymour has made me lose my mind. . . Least the wig is almost done.

I somehow managed to make my linning shorter then the outer layer. Not sure how I managed that considering the lining was a few inches longer when I cut it out... So I did a magic trick? O.o So to the seam ripper! I can't machine sew but I can finish my sleeve then tomorrow all I'll have to do is trim my wig hairline and sew the lining/trim. I'll probably do it when I go home for dinner from Kawaii Kon. ><;

I'm in real need of figuring out how to make arm warmers and possibly leg warmers for this Vaporeon gijinka. I've never sewn...anything...so I'm looking for any kind of substitute that may work.

Also, any suggestions on a wig? I'm kinda looking at maybe a medium length one. Basically, I'm thinking of doing something like having twin tails kinda hang out of the hood while it's up. I just need some suggestions of styles/colors that would look right with it.
