Do you have any tips for a shooting in a cold place?

Have an assistant there with a coat or blanket for between shots. Also they make these hand warmer things that look like little ice packs but warm up when you shake them / activate them according to the packaging directions that work really well (we use them between knife-throwing rounds when at late autumn SCA events).

Well I sewed the first of Karaus's coat tails and it didn't turn out quite like I'd hoped, now I'm scared to continue because I'm afraid I'm gonna botch the rest of them too (not to mention I'm really worried about adding the fuschia lining now) >.<

Ah well, my friend is coming over to work on cosplay tomorrow so maybe she can help me. Or maybe I can take a break and start working on her Prince Diamond cosplay that I'm making for her.

I don't know what to do. T_T I found a BEAUTIFUL green square dance petticoat on ebay for $65. And it would work PERFECTLY for Camellia Gumi. But it is $65. Price wise though it is probably better than making it myself though...

My friend came over cause she needed somewhere to spraypaint her automail, and I showed her the base of the Amon mask I made her, and she loved it. It gave me all the warm fuzzies, I'm just so thrilled that she liked it.

In other news, I've got my belt and pouch pieces cut out. I need to punch holes (I'm really dreading that. I can sense It's not going to work) and sew things together. I also want to finish drafting my dress this weekend, but knowing my work ethic....ha, good luck to me.

And I just went to check the status of the studs, and the email said there's a possibility that they won't arrive until after the con, and I panicked a little.
But then I checked the tracking on the site and they said they'll be here TODAY! Yes, I like that much better.

I came $100 under budget for my next cosplay's materials. That means I can splurge a bit on the prop.

I want to work on my cosplay but I have the urge to just work on my sisters, since hers has details I can do where as Veran I have to manipulate into some how becoming 3 dimensional. :/ Although I do kind of need my sisters done a month before mine because I have to take it up there for her to try it on make sure it fits.

So I'm pretty much painting for the entire day, will probably barely get started on embroidery. If I do. Then after that I still need to bead.

Got fabric today to work on Asuna's cape/cloak! And also some white fabric so I can continue to work on Kuro Usagi My niece bought some fabric so she can learn how to make some clothes for her dolls, I wish I was taught at an early age~! xD

OMG. Gale of Darkness. DOOO ITTTTTT.

I think.. I think I will get this petticoat. Yes, it is $65 but this would be so much easier than making it myself. Plus I tried calculating the cost of fabric and such and this is the better option. I'm going to need to sell off some cosplay stuff though so I can afford to make Koromaru as well.
