Sheryl's top is about half way done, thanks to the great instruction of Mama T (Teresa) while i sewed. If not for her i'd be lost ♥ I just have to make the top band a little tighter, sew the bottom band and give the sleeves a nice finish on the end. X3

Also i got my gijinka wig yesterday i'm so happy! i love it, i just need to figure out how i want to edit my bangs. Then today, i'm expecting my wig for the POTC! Yay! i'm really hoping the color and length are right now.X"D

This the wig i bought for the Princess of the Crystal it's 80 cm, so my only worry is cause i'm tall what if it's not long enoughX"3 *yeah, i'm worry wart lol*

I'm in a good mood. Got my wig for Makishima, cut it to my satisfaction and mass-ordered coloured contact lenses.
Also got some Makishima test shots done with my dear mother's help.

I'm already working on too many cosplays and I keep finding new ones I want to do, augh! Also I think I have a problem of overcosplaying from the same series... why can't I just pick one character? It happened with Homestuck and looks like it's happening (on a lesser extent, but that's cause there's not nearly as many characters or variations) with Dangan Ronpa.

Annnd somebody straight up stole the makeup palette I ordered out of my mailbox.

It's limited edition, idk if they'll have anymore and sephora told me to wait till tomorrow in case the delivery thing was wrong.

Went to Lowe's last night to get some foam that I needed for the tutorial I am working through for my Red Hood mask and couldn't find what it was I thought I was looking for. I'll check the tutorial again and try to find exactly the right product again this weekend so I can get started.

If I were to cosplay from Homestuck, it would be Davesprite. But I'm not going to because NO.

Had a question on my mind pertaining to type of cosplayers. Do all cosplayers craft all their own things? Do cosplayers look down on the ones that don't? What do you call a person who is a fan of a character but is only into the modeling and photography part of cosplaying? How hardcore/casual can you be to be considered a cosplayer? Am I thinking way too much about it?

Also, are cosplayers like models who eventually are discovered and end up in magazines with their own section and background story? I remember reading about such cosplayers in a Newtype magazine very long ago.

>.> So too support the animes I love, I shall give up money from my cosplay budget. It still makes me sad though. I'm doing an order from Japan for the UtaPri perfume, Then I'm also giving my friend who is going back to visit her home in japan money for Kuroko no Basuke Chocolates, Hakuouki Muscial DVD, and for the Happi coats for Hakuouki as well.

I also need to save my money to buy wigs. . . and fabric. I'm going to order my Kent and Garry wigs first so at least I'll have those. Then when fabric.com restocks on the yellow I want, I'll buy the fabric for Koubun Ka.

I'm going to be very very broke this summer it seems.

Plenty of cosplayers buy their costumes. I myself can only do simple modifications (haven't even made a single garment). It's only a problem if you say you made it when you didn't, or entering cosplay competitions where the participants have to have made their costumes themselves and you haven't.

Lucky! I want to order the UtaPri perfume but I'm trying to resist so much since I like to smell perfumes before buying them because I am very picky on scents. >_>

Fur and eyes for Koromaru have been shipping out! Crossing my fingers they come in sometime next week so I can get started right away on him! But first I really should cut out that pattern...

Cosplayers come in all kinds of shapes, sizes, and paths to greatness. Some buy their costumes, some make them themselves. Some people trade skills with friends, like sewing or wig styling or prop making or car driving. It's all good.

I've never heard of cosplayers being 'discovered', though.
