I just got my wig in the mail yesterday. It's perfect, and I love it. However...my hair is so thick, that even with a wig cap on, it's too small. Any help? I really love the wig (and it was really expensive... >_>) and I don't want to have to buy a new one D: (The problem isn't the wig-net, it's my hair. It's so big. TT^TT)

Actually, have you measured the wig cap (inside out, stretched to the max) and compared it to your head circumference? Heads come in all kinds of sizes and there is such a thing as small, average, and large wigs. Average sized wigs fit most Western heads, but lots of Chinese ebay sellers carry smaller wigs.

However, you can make the wig larger (tutorials on the forums), and depending on the style, you can mask your hairline if you just leave the fiber a little longer in the back and on the temples.

I need help! I was trying to attach my ponytails to the back of my wig but the weight of it is pulling my wig up. How can I prevent that from happening?

My hair is short, curly (grows almost like an Afro), and thick, how do I control that for a wig?

my hair is long, thick and very very curly.
I've tried everything to get it under a wig cap well- pin curls, braids, you name it.
I never tried your twisted hair method- but I just did and it WORKS! Thank you so much!
: ) Great tutorial!

Hey, I'm having a little bit of difficulty regarding wig caps. Of course, I'm just using the regular knee-high stocking. My problem is that I want my ears to show because my wig will be styled around them. But when I put my wig cap on and try to work it around my ears, it just makes them stick out and looks terrible -_-
Does anyone have any helpful advice?? I would really appreciate it!

Thank you very much for the helpful and easy to understand tutorial!

(also not sure if it was supposed to be that way, but just letting you know that you used the image 'wig9' twice near the end of your tutorial :P)

Thanks for the tutorial. I was wondering how to put all my hair up under a wig. I've never had one before. heh.

This seems like a silly question, but what do you do with the plastic hooks on the sides of the wig? Are they supposed to clip together? I tried that once and the hook broke. I usually just ignore them but I recently bought a wig that slides off when I put it in a ponytail and I am not sure how to make it stay better.
