Scammer : GarnetFlight / SageWigs or

Met this girl at Ohayocon, and she seemed like a perfectly pleasant young lady. After discovering that her very good Blacklady wig was done by herself, I contacted her over DeviantArt to query prices. After discussing things, and deciding that I wanted a lace-front wig for my Myu performance group, and was quoted $300. Now, that for a lace-fronted wig seemed pretty reasonable to me. I put a down-payment of £52/$100 for the wig, and waited. I was assured the wig would be done for 12th May.

May 12th came and went, with no sign of the wig. I continually emailed/Noted her on DA, only receiving the very rare reply, always promising pictures "when it looks like something LOL". The performance deadline flew past, but I decided (more fool me) I'd give her a chance. After all, on one of the few occasions she had deigned to reply to me, she had said she had to purchase new wig fibre for tying, as the stuff she purchased "curly Q'd" when she tied it. Since then, I have had no reply from any of my messages, even though screencaps I have prove she has been online on DeviantArt.

Don't commission a wig from this girl: you won't get it.

i'm guessing this is the right place.

can anyone vouch for i saw it on the homepage.

i was thinking of getting a costume from there. and my brother was too. the prices are pretty low so i was wondering if that's for a reason.
What's this for? It's a wig.
What's it for? To disguise yourself from yourself.

Has anyone bought from lotahk on ebay recently? I saw that they had a Viral (Gurren Lagann) cosplay for sale: 6.m20.l1116

EDIT: Oops. Nevermind. ^^; I searched this thread and found a recent post about them so I'll probably keep them in mind. However, anyone else who has dealt with them before you're more than welcome to tell me about them.

Saya, I recently ordered a costume from them about a week and a half ago. When it comes in, I'll tell yah about it n_n

So far it's been a good transaction, though.

I've seen a post in here saying that HonestDragonChina have a bad reputation.
I was wondering if this was backed up or just one person having a bad experience with them? Could anyone comment as I'm going to be buying a dress from them at the beginning of next year and would appreciate any comments on them as their ebay reputation seems pretty solid apart from a few odd people that didn't measure themselves properly or ordered their costume too late etc.

They seem to be a bit 50-50 which I'm worried about. Has anyone had any MASSIVE problems with them like their stuff not arriving at all or taking months to arrive?

Same goes for Fan-Plus-Friend (added hyphens because it gets changed to Lumberjacked!) what are people's experiences with them? Seems to be pretty good by this thread but still curious as the dress from there is twice the cost of the HonestDragon one.
Current costume:
Kya (Custom Persocom) Ayacon 2009 (No Amecon *cry cry*) Planning stage

anyone know anything of cosplaykula on ebay.
They have 100% positive feedback but i ordered a wig from them last month and still no sign of it.
Im likely just being impatient since it is shipping from Singapore to Scotland but im kinda relying on it for a con in 7 weeks (probably just pre-con jitters thats making me paranoid!)

I was wondering if anyone has had anything done by honest_insanity? He offered to do a breastplate, and judging by his Master Chief armor, he looks to be awesome, but I just want to be sure. Here's his profile my ad

thanks for any help!

Thumbs up honestdragonchina on ebay

I bought from their store about two years ago. I bought a costume from Tokyo Mew Mew, a complicated pink shirt with darts and four tails, and a pink skirt, and red gloves, and pink poofy armlet sleeves. The lace sewed on the top was very cute, and the measurements were exactly right. The pettiskirt that comes with it isn't so great, but it totally worked for the costume anyway. Most of the superfluous accessories (cat ears on the headband and tail) weren't so hot, but The costumes are so well-made that I didn't care.

I outgrew this costume eventually (I was like, 13 when I wore it) but it was cute and sewn well. Order well in advance because it's custom sizing for most of her stuff and it comes handmade from China. It didn't smell like smoke and the hem on all of the items were perfect. I bought hers because it was made of comfy cotton instead of vinyl from another retailer on ebay. It was good because the convention I went to was very hot, and it kept me cool.

She'll also answer your emails in a few days, and respond very quickly. Shipping can take longer than expected, but she does a fabulous job.

Has anyone worked with Koushinri Creations (username: MiraiTrunksLove)? Her website is: I'm asking different commisioners for quotes on a partial costume and her stuff looks okay.

Also asking about the cosplay user: sangniz

Not sure if anyone's posted about them, but avoid E-Clec-Tech at all costs. I ordered an EL panel kit from them sometime in early July, and not heard a word from the merchant after my payment was processed.

Ah awesome thread, Ive been scammed and wondered where to post it. The scammers were Velvet Eden Cosplay and i paid them a sum way back i January for a jacket i had them commission. They're site seems to have gone, I've received nothing and i've been ignored every since. This is first time this has happened me and wish i'd never bothered getting involved with them. It's put me of the commission section of the marketplace since that's where i found them. -_-
