I'm sorry if this is the wrong place but I just wanted to ask about two different ones if they are known to scam or not, since my friend and I both plan to order from whichever is safe.

Are these both ok and not scamers?

I haven't read through the entirety of this thread (it's so long! O_O) but I did just recently have a terrible experience with an ebay seller "superchinaseller". I had a convention coming up quickly and didn't want to have a time cruch with a difficult costume, added to the fact that their costume looked *amazing* on their ebay page, I decided to give it a go. The seller was very communicative easy to deal with. The shipping was also extremely quick, albeit terribly overpriced, but I was willing to overpay a bit if the costume was as excellent as it appeared. Unfortunately, it wasn't. Not only did it look nothing like the picture in structure/design, but it was also made of satin-esque material, when the picture was clearly not glossy. The colors were off as well; where it showed white, it was a tanish yellow, and where it should have been a pale pink, it was very dark pink. The fit was off as well, even though I'd sent in and the seller had confirmed custom measurements. I notified the seller immediately, and told him or her that the costume was unsatisfactory, and they said they would give me half of my money back as a refund. However, this would do me no good, as I would end up paying more in shipping to send it back then I would receive from the refund. >_< This is the first bad experience I've ever had with any online seller, and I can't help but think that maybe I've justed been dodging the bullet until then...
Hopefully this helps someone! Don't buy from superchinaseller! Then again, most of their reviews were positive, and they've sold more than a thousand costumes... Maybe they're usually very good, and my costume was just a really (and I mean really) bad mistake? In any case, I'm done ranting about it now. DX

I've been trying to find out about those two sites as well; I don't have much info on them really, the only thing I've been able to find here on the forum is this post. Someone named 'Steven' who apparently works for milanoo.com; they managed to get banned after only two posts somehow (his other post didn't seem offensive or anything, just seemed that English probably wasn't his first language).

Without knowing why he was banned it isn't really fair to use this to judge the website, just saying it's the only mention of milanoo.com I was able to find. The site looks good, they have a large number of costumes, though I notice that milanoo.com looks more like a storefront that sells products from a collection of other companies (see here) and that the actual cosplay is done by a group called "Cosplay Show." It looks like they have a lot of experience (the site shows them having 290 different costumes available!!) but I can't vouch for the quality or credibility.

I hope something in this post can be useful to someone, sorry I don't have more information!

I just want to warn you all about another ebay seller: toywholeseller.

I recently bought the black kimono for my Bleach cosplay from him. He asked for my body measurements which I readily gave to him. However, when the costume came in the mail, it was 5 inches too short on the bottom, the shirt hem and the sleeves. Also, the top didn't even wrap around me all the way, the entire thing was too small on me.

Don't trust this guy.

Hi, this is my first post here.

I've just ordered from the Japanese site of http://www.uscos00.com/ which is http://www.cos00.jp/ as I live in Japan. The only way I could pay was to transfer money into their account, which I have done. I feel this is not too bad as I can easily track them from the account, however it doesn't really help if they do a runner. I paid 6 days ago and they were very quick in response, telling me that the costume is underway and they would notify me when it was completed and ready to ship.

The name on the account is definitely Chinese, however the account is Japanese.

So far it all seems legit to me.

Don't ever be fooled by a sellers good feedback; ever. Because I got scammed by someone like that as well. They do whats against the rules on ebay, called Shill Bidding. They win the auction on one of there own items, on a different accoun of theres.. And then they leave themselves good feedback, just to get a mass amount of good feedback. It happens all the time these days, but eBay is doing what they can to stop it. A bunch of users were recently banned because of it. Though; there are other ways of Shill Bidding, as well.

bumping an old thread but oh well.

ordered some swords from them over a month ago. i asked them how long it would take and they said it was a chinese holiday so there was no post at the time. asked later and they claimed they were still on holiday. opened a dispute in paypal yesterday and now they claim their tailor was ill (a tailor who constructs swords) and the swords will arrive on time..

in all honesty i think they're full of crap as the tracking number they've now given me doesn't even work. will post if i get my swords by the end of the week (Y)
