Eh, I'll be at the Dirty show this Friday probably, so I'm out for anything this weekend.
Hey, how about we do something really anime for Valentine's day! The girls in here can make all us guys some chocolates homemade-like! Don't matter to me none if it's just giri-choco... Choco be choco, people. Anyone else seen Kamikaze Girls yet?

Actually, I think it would be more accurate to describe the custom of women giving chocolate to men on Valentine's Day as a Japanese custom, rather than simply anime. The custom is reflected in anime, since it is part of the culture that created the anime.
(Just being a pain in the ass ;-) We're currently considering the last two weekends of the month for possible days to go ice skating. So being busy this weekend doesn't necessarily count you out of looking silly on ice skates later on, Ben! ;-) Last edited by mgperkow : 02-07-2006 at 07:46 AM. |

Sheichan has bad ankles from multiple falls and sprains....
Sheichan cannot go ice skating ;_; Gonna start making plans for my B-Day bash ^_^ My birthday is on March 26th, so I'm trying to figure out what's better: Having it the day before (on Saturday the 25th) or the following weekend (Saturday, April 4th)?

Troy and Ann Arbor are good locations in terms of proximity to lots of people who might go to the event. One of them might be a good choice.

Well, for a central location, somewhere around Redford/Southfield/Oak Park/Royal Oak might be better. The Southfield Sports Arena is on that list, and Scott has been to the John Lindell Ice Arena in Royal Oak.
I think the weekend of February 24-26 would be good, since that's halfway between bowling and Wizzywig's cosplay day.

That sounds like as good a date as any. This way people have a few weeks to work with their schedules. Gosh, yeah... Link on ice skates. That'll require a bit of decission to do that or not. I've ice skated a few times before but of course in costume would be a first. Defintely no heavy items for this one!
Oh, and the rest of the bowling pics are now uploaded in my gallery. Enjoy. http://images.cosplay.com/gallery.ph...39&member=7100

I like Royal Oak on the 25th if everyone else does... How does that work for everyone else who'd like to go?
