Half Mexican, half European mutt. ^^;

Well, to be specific, Mexican, German, Dutch, Irish/Scottish(maybe?), and just a touch of Native American.

Another hybrid here! I was born in Venezuela, my dad's from Trinidad and I've been living in Canada since I was 5 months old. I look more Indian than Hispanic though, but I do have those lovely spanish eyes.

Skin color shouldn't limit you. My favorite cosplay character is a 6ft pale German man. Ignore things you can't control like skin color, height and the like. *points to profile* Got lots of complements and hugs as Schuldig. You can make changes to flatter your features, I made changes in many costumes to accomidate my lack of height. Went with a dark blonde/light brown wig for my Soubi costume. I just look scary in a blonde wig.

i agree 100%. dont allow skin color (or height, etc.) stop you from cosplaying a certain character that you love. like makotohanabi mentioned, make adjustments to fit your body for the character, such as changing up slightly the color of the wig (the trick is to find the shade of blonde that looks good with your skin color, rather than what is 100% accurate) or altering parts of the costume to make sure that the proportions look correct. haha, also, tricks in photos such as always knelling, standing on tip-toes, way-tall heels, or finding a cosplay buddy that compliments your character's height. XD haha, like you all know, ive cosplayed BOTH Soi Fong and Yoruichi (BLEACH)... very different character builds, but since i love em both, i didnt allow my skin color or height to get in the way making an ode to some of my favorite characters. ^^ if you put the time, effort, and love into a costume, it shows!

Hello hello, I'm from Argentina (but currently living in the US), nice to meet you my Hispanic brothers *bows*

Mmmm color skin and character compatibility... the only characters I think real humans can't pull off are those with blue/green/other funky colors skin; like the characters from the Daft Punk video ^^ asides that I've seen dark skin characters (like Urd from Aah Megamisama) being cosplayed by fair and yellow skin people and it looks amazing. The important thing is to make a good costume, don't worry about your skin.

i dont think skin color really cares because in my family there are some that are light colored (me) and some that are dark colored (my sister) and im pretty sure its different when it comes to hispanics since we come in different colors and look different (some of us)

anyway im puerto rican i might be mixed with something but im not sure (great grandmother was something else but no one knows what)

I dont know that many hispanic cosplayers.
