The new Market Place forum. It's FULL of people selling things they shouldn't be selling, placing ads where they shouldn't be, and just over all spam. It's driving me crazy! I didn't see a problem with the one from before, it worked a million times better then the one they have now. I really hope it's just temporary...

Why won't people post their own pics?? Stock images don't help very much if they don't also post their own images!

Pet Peeve: When I can't figure out how to budget all my cosplays, so I'll need to postpond or drop it entirely.

Also, when my friends don't understand that I am not like them and don't have all the money in to world to do cosplays. I do have a job but it doesn't pay well and I can't get a better one without risking losing my financial aid. There is only so much budget thing I can do and only so many meals I can skip.

Not always this-but I had one incident where a friend wanted us to get a very extreme and complicated costume done within a matter of three months, for a specific con, and with how low my funds were with my job, there was no way I could have it done in time due to being unable to buy materials. But when I pointed that out it felt like I was the bad guy for not being able to get the costume done (I haven't started on it but I am still going to make it.) Just because I have a few months to work on a costume doesn't mean I can afford it... And it's mostly fur too...

I hate packing as well, as I'm always convinced I'll forget something important, but at least then I have the benefit of looking forward to the con.

There is a loop hole with finicial aid sometimes. Leave some money in checking and put the rest in a safty deposit box. Thats what I did and it worked just fine! ^_^

THIS SO MUCH.

I think both companies have beautiful products, but when it comes down to it, there are better or at least other options. When it comes to Aradani, I'm tired of people telling me to go there for ears that are not accurate in any way for certain characters. It was thanks to a British coscom user that I discovered another company that makes ears that, when painted correctly, look just as nice and are far more accurate.

It's not that. If I get a second job, I'll have to start paying taxes and thus my financiad becomes based off my income and not my disabled mothers. If it becomes based on my income I'll get less financial aid which I need so I don't go that much into debt. It's difference between a 10,000$ loan verses a 20,000$ loan...

There are people who complain about non-anime or non-Japanese costumes? I see people running around cons in just about everything imagineable- Star Wars, Disney, World of Warcraft, Halloween costumes from those seasonal Halloween stores, Jesus (seriously, most larger cons have at least one Jesus costume), rubber masks of politicians, internet memes like Nyancat, and even giant bananas. Most people will take any opportunity possible to wear their costumes.

For some reason, my bladder decides to work double time whenever I'm in an intricate cosplay and or wearing a super long wig. .___.; So here I am, in the handicap stall ( Which at a convention, let's face it, becomes an impromptu dressing room) undressing at lightning fast speeds going: "Ohgodohgodohgod!"

Really? I have the opposite at cons. I have a bladder of steel anyway, even when I drink loads, so I don't have to worry about too many bathroom breaks at cons.
