I have dressed up as Mizuki Ashiya from Shoujo manga series "Hanazakari no kimitachi e (Hana-Kimi, For you in full blossoms)" @ AX 2005. And no body recognized me

So, before I consider making the next Shoujo Manga school uniform costumes, I would like to know if THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO KNOWS "VAMPIRE KNIGHT," done by Matsuri Hino.

This series is currently on monthly LaLa magazine and has a gourgeous school uniforms and the costume itself is selling in Japan!

I don't know if the series made to US but do you know "Vampire Knight"?

But it could be very minor here...

I have never read other Manga done by Hino Matsuri but
the first moment I read "VK, " I was so attracted to the drawing,
although the story is starting to get too slow at this moment.


demo,the uniforms of Kurosu Gakuen are excellent,
too cool not to resist to make them.
I love night class boys uniform and day class girls uniform.

My favorite character is of course Kaname Kuran　萌.

This is on my to-do list once I get back to the land of available fabric and notions. LOVE the manga (reading it in Japnaese). Love the characters. Love the uniforms. Fangirled over the people dressed in Vampire Knight uniforms at Comiket (YAY).

I wish I could go and see "VK" cosplayers in Japan.
They must be so cute!! Especially Yuuki.

I hope this series will be published in English soon.
Since Hakusensha, which is super major co., is presenting this series, there is a great chance for this series go keep going over the years. Besides this series is getting popular and they just gave away Yuuki's cross necklace as furoku with the LaLa March issue. I can use this necklace when I wear Yuuki's cos.

Also, I love Ouran High school Host Club. I have provided their school vest and tie but they don't look good as it does in Manga.

I'm going to have to look for this LaLa March issue... I know it's rather late. Could you share where you bought it from? I don't see many cool magazines where I am (total inaka).

The VK cosplayers were incredibly cute! Lots of Yuuki's, and one Yuuki + Zero couple. Kakkoi~~ Can't wait to be Yuuki, myself. Who are you thinking of going as? Kaname-sempai?

Since I am in Los Angeles area,
I always buy manga @ Kinokuniya Bookstore or Asahiya,
depends on where I go for Japanese food shopping.

That's what I thought. Yuuki cosplay must be so cute!!

I don't know who I will be dressing as if I make the VK cos...
In my case, it is bimyou (微妙） because I am short, and
I don't have cute girl's face, therefore,
I struggle wearing either cool guy cos or cute girl cos.(涙）
So, I can not tell　at this moment, and I won't do this alone for
no one will recognize Vampire Knight.

When you do Yuuki cos, please let me know.
(I can only make to the cons that are held in Los Angeles county.)

I think you will be suprised how many people will reconize you. Vampire Night is currently serialized in the US magazine Shojo Beat. Personally, I pick Zero over Kaname, but who would complain about either? (,^w^),

Thanks. When I started this thread, I was wondering because there was only Japanese Manga available. But, now I don't have to worry!!

I understand Zero is also a cool guy.
The original series turned the dramatic way between Zero and Kaname- of course I can't tell you now but Zero and Kaname got more intense now than ever on LaLa magazine. I can't wait for you to read it!!!

May be I can see you as Zero in the future?

Don't give up. There is away for any cosplayer to make the costume that she loves to make. Gambatte. And please let us know on this thread when you come up with Kurosu Gakuen uniform!
