Okay I'm a wig noob -still- and I need help especially with my Riku wig. I need it to have that chunky, layered look but I don't know what products to use on the wig =/ I've got it as straight as I can with the heated water technique, and now it's just sitting....waiting to be styled. Any help from prior KH2 Riku cosplayers is needed! Thanks!

Note. Don't use spray on wax. It gets everywhere and doesn't really work >>;;;;;

I've styled a KH2 Riku wig before... if I recall correctly I think I did the wig almost all with Aquanet hairspray... you just need to pick out chunks of hair and sort of make the tips come together so he has that chunky, yet smooth, look to his hair... whatever doesn't seem to work well enough with hairspray, all you need is strong hair gel.

In my wandering lurking, I came across this thread and just had to comment as to a wig that would be perfect. The Kanekalon Beast Wig in Lily. They even have an image of someone who used it for their KH2 Riku and it looked perfect.

Just thought I'd point it out.

I as wondering if anyone could post some pics of Riku in the deep dive video, since I'm doing that version of Riku and need pictures to show my mom as references so she can figure out what she could do to style a wig. I'll see what she says.

I honestly think this is the best wig for a KH2 Riku cosplay. Not quite as long, but everything alse is perfect, just chunk it out a bit. A little pricey, but it looks awesome.

That's the wig I had my friend get for her Riku. I'll be the one styling it, so she agreed to but whatever wig looked best. With a straightening and a little layers, I think it'd be perfect for fmv Riku. I'll be styling it as in-game though, but I think it's a great start because it already has a few layers in it. I know for sure I'll be cutting more into the bangs and stuff. My friend just got the wig the other day and she said she realy likes it.

I have a question for you.
How would you about styling the wig, I have no idea since I'm new to wigs and all, and would like to try on cheaper wigs till I get it right >.<
