In 98 I went to a Blink 182 show w/ Fenix TX and Bad Religion.
SOO MUCH FUN!!!
Wahah!!
Then again, I was a sophomore in HS

Last semester Incubus came to my school...they're awesome!!
The show was great and their visuals were the best I've seen.

Hmm....I'd say the best concert I've been to was Pearl Jam during their Binaural tour and both times I saw Stabbing Westward they kicked a**, and oh yeah, The Verve Pipe are pretty cool live....

The worst one? Hmm....My sister and my ma once dragged me to go see Wade Hayes(a country singer) -wah! now I'm scarred for life! LOL

hmm there are alot of best ones. but I can't really think of a worst one..... 'cause none were bad....

but definately the best..or most influential on me was seeing Atari Teenage Riot, Give Up, and Ec8oR live in '97

Days of the New back in early '98. Yeah, and everyone is saying "Who? O_o."

Oh, the first band I ever saw in concert also rocked. Rage Against The Machine. Holy wow *_*. I saw them with U2 on their PopMart tour. Sadly, U2 was not their usual awesome selves that night.

And of course, I have to add Savage Garden in here, whom I have seen twice. It's not the type of show I'm used to seeing, but you have to hear Darren Hayes singing live to understand how amazing a singer he is.

ive seen too many shows to count....um..for best stage presence, Nickel Creek, whom ive seen at least 5 times. also, Dave Matthews Band put on amazing shows, despite all the crowds. other good concert bands, Guster, Savage Garden, Goo Goo Dolls, Barenaked Ladies, TLC and others that i cant remember. John Mayer is good, but he sings better on his cd i think...in concert he was uh..weird. i think the worst show ive seen was Vince Gill and Amy Grant 0.0 i only went because Nickel Creek was a guest there

Reverend Horton Heat, easily best live performance I've ever seen. One that it was the Rev, two that it was in a fairly small venue. Small venues always seem to have memorable shows for me.

Worst.....hmmm..... My life with the thrill kill kult, worst show I've ever seen. Even busted the chick lip synching :\

The only "bad" shows I've been to are ones that aren't really the bands fault. I went to a Fleetwood Mac reunion concert with my mom but it sucked hardcore because I had pneumonia. My mom kept trying to get me to stand up and dance but I was like "I can't stand...." Then I went to a Barenaked Ladies concert that I would have adored if it wasn't for the crappy Spectrum seats.

As for the best....I don't know....I really enjoyed the Kenny Wayne Shepherd concert at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach. And Farm Aid '99 was pretty awesome.

And Dreamer, I saw Debbie Gibson in concert too...the Electric Youth tour Before that, it was Tiffany with New Kids on the Block opening for her. Now...the oldness creeps in

Hell yeah Psythe! The Reverend kicks ass live! I saw him twice. Once on teh '98 Vans Warped Tour and another time back in '00 at Juanita's(small venue) in Little Rock Arkansas with Los Straightjackets. The Warped tour was an awesome day. Was front row for NOFX, Bad Religion, Save Ferris and had a good view for Rancid, THe Rev, and several others.

Hmm, best show I ever have witnessed? The Cure in ST. Louis on the Dream Tour(for the Bloodflowers album). I was way back in the back row almost, but it was still a moving experience. I cried like a baby through almost all of it. They played songs from Disintegration and Pornography, Seventeen Seconds and a random selection of others. I never thought that I would ever hear "PLainsong" or "A Strange Day" live--and I did. *sigh*

A few other good ones have been: Agnostic Front, Southern Culture on the Skids and Fugazi. Fugazi rocked. I was right near the stage, so I could see Ian spitting (if you know Fugazi or Minor Threat, you know about Ian spitting) but luckily I was far enough back to not get any splashed on me!

The worst: It's a tie between Six Feet Under (because I HATE that kind of music) and The Misfits(new). Michael Graves (who I hate with an unholy passion) was singing the words to "Devil's Whorehouse" when they were playing "Green Hell". I only know because I was standing on the stage. A good part though was when I collapsed from heat exhaustion Doyle stopped playing and asked if I was okay and gave me a towel. I thought that was really sweet.

Oh yeah! I forgot about Offspring! Early '99. I got bruises and almost got my top ripped off from the mosh pit, but the music was good XD. I think that's the last time I go in the mosh pit ^_^.

its not really a concert, but my worst live show experience was the warped tour. too many drive-thru/midtown like bands, and the pizza was like $5 a slice. I enjoyed tsunami bomb though.

blarr, I am so under-experienced. I can count on one hand the lives I have been to ^^;;

First concert was eh. I went with my then-sorta-boyfriend-now-friend Neko to a DC Talk concert in Dallas, and it was big and I didn't know any of the music except when they did covers of some old rock songs and the fangirl in the seat next to me had a voice that would make a dog curl up and die x.x

Then the band America came to the Plano Hot Air Balloon festival and that was fun, but not a lot of excitement or anything - music was good but it was pretty serene. I think I was the youngest one up by the stage ^^ (I was 14 or 15 at the time...)

A year ago I went to a Dark Star Orchestra concert in Austin with my dad and some of his college buddies and their kids (they do covers of full Grateful Dead concerts). It was good, I knew some of the music because my dad is a huge Deadhead and plays Grateful Dead music all the time - it kind of weirded me out to be there with my DAD with all the drugs that were flying around, though. The old first-wave Grateful Dead fans were smoking stuff and the new college-age fans were smoking stuff and there was lots of smoking going on. I think I got a little buzzed on all the smoke ;P

Most recently was Duel Jewel (heh, there's a whole thread on that one too...) at A-kon last year...that was a lot of fun. I'm one of those people who didn't know their music beforehand but I liked it and thought Hayato had a lovely voice and that made me happy. Wish I'd been able to make it to the acoustic on Sunday, since I heard a lot of good things about it after the fact, but I was hitching a ride with a friend and so I had to leave on HER time ;P This year I'll be driving myself, so I can leave whenever I feel like it, nyah.
