ok ok thank you for all your answers!but in fact, I didn't ask it with a special character nor event in mind. It was just to know more about it.

well it was still a pleasure to have a little talk about this subject! I already knew photogenic masks and it is true that they are the most realistic masks I've ever seen!

Well I'm a natural red head.....but there's no way I can do anything permanent to make my eyebrows look femme without my parents freaking out and taking away my computer. I'm just doing the whole gothic loli thing.

I found this place online. They also make fake breasts that look good. Good luck.

I would rather go to work in my crossplay than wear one of those masks but since this thread is about female masks I figured posting the link was the right thing to do. LOL

All I can add is the PhotoGenic mask is pretty much the way to go in this area, thought I don't know about using one for a cosplay.

Having worn one a times, the following things come to mind.

The skin color doesn't usually match your own unless you buy a neck form from Natori .. this is really easily evident when in person (on my gallery photos I've photoshopped the colors).

The sight perception is extremely limited. To the point of needing a handler to keep you from running into things. Natori has an eye style that is much easier to see out of, but the eyes look less realistic.

These things cost right at $1000 and I don't think he is taking orders at the present time (if you went with photogenic mask).

On the positive side, looking in the mirror is like looking at a different person, they are form fitting to the eyes and cheek ,. and you sometimes end up sounding like darth vader because you end up breathing through the eye pinholes and such.

Whoa ... those Photogenic masks are kinda scary, in a slightly cool way... >_>

I was actually looking for a way to get my own features to look a little more masculine (I'm female) ... but ... just ... not by means of a mask. ._.;; I posted a thread requesting suggestions in this regard, but it's kinda got no replies. ._.;;
