Walking distance from Renaissance...

How bad is the walking distance to the con at Renaissance? It's hotel #6 on the Otakon map and it looks like one block farther than Radisson and Wyndham. Any feedback from anyone who stayed at the Renaissance is much appreciated.

it's not too far. but if it's a really hot day and your wearing something that makes you all kinds of hot and sweaty, it might seem like a really long walk.

I hope that helps

I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes.

or should I?

Ooh, I stayed at Renaissance two years ago. It isn't too bad of a walk, if I recall correctly. Just don't run in your costume like I did, or you'll be sweating from the hot, humid weather. ^^;;; Take it leisurely.

I remember being able to go through the mall attached to the hotel and take these walkways to the convention center, though this is only from memory. I may be wrong or thinking of a different hotel. ._.;; Hope that helps...?
