Kingdom Hearts - White Mushroom

Hi guys I need a bit of help for the hat and face part of this costume. I'm not really sure what to do, I don't want o paint my face, but I'm willing to cover my face. Some people I'hv seen did a mascot head thing but I'm not sure how to do that. So any tips?

It's gunna take a really cool character to get me to start cosplaying again. I'm just stickin around to give advice and whatnot.

Hello! THe residental white mushroom here! Well for my mascot head, I made Mine from a big ball from like k mart or walmart in the toy section (make sure it's at LEAST 16"). Then I just paper mache'd over it. The only problem with this is that it get really hot so you tend to sweat. THe moisture from your sweat will warp the mascot head unless you get some moisture sealing stuff. I'm trying to *currently* figure out a better way to make the mask with a better ventalation system. THe cap was actually a coconut lining from Lowe's that they use for flower pots.XD

I made my head with a wire and posterboard frame covered in quilters batting to make it soft. It worked pretty well and is sturdy. Inside there's a wire ring covered in batting that my head fits into to keep the head on straight (but it's loose so that the actual weight is carried on my shoulders).

I'm pretty sure there's a mascot tutorial floating around and that has some good ideas too.
