Fabrication Contest
Hey was wondering how many cosplay members are planning on entering the fabrication contest at Dragon Con? So who's in?

Entering no, but I plan to be there and helping in a different capacity.
Not sure what I am going to -wear- for it still...but my thought was to pull out my Witch Hunter Robin, as she's comfy.

could you give me a link to that particular contest? I missed that, me and my gf could rock the cats box on that. My death hauler is testiment to our skills.

I'm competing in it. I was originally supposed to do Katrina's New York Arrival Gown from Sleepy Hollow, but I'm having difficulty locating the pattern I wanted to use for it. If I can't get it in time, I have a backup costume that I'll enter instead.
I already have the fabric for Katrina though. It's just the pattern I'm missing.

I've been thinking of trying to get my boyfriend into it. I've been having second thought's though. It's not the craziest costume, but regardless a lot of work has gone into it. And it's a lot of black, which would just all blend together on stage. Plus I'll probably have to order two parts of it instead of making them. But I did accomplish making a fiberlgass mask for it. I'm also not sure how entering someone besides yourself in a costume you made for them goes. *shrug* I don't know, but I'm not entering the Dawn contest any more so I'd like to do something.

Last I checked, they were toying around with online registration plus onsite registration at the convention, but I haven't heard anything recently. I'm assuming they'll keep the website updated for when the registration information is released. I'm going to have to be there from the moment the convention starts, so either would be fine for me.
I did manage to finally get ahold of the pattern I need, however, so it looks like Katrina's a go for the contest.
