K'9999 SDM arm help T_T!
I'm trying to do a K'9999 costume, and I'm not sure how to do the Tetsuo-esque mutated arm. >_>;; If someone knows how to do it, has done it, or might be willing to do it for me, pleeeease tell me. My main worry is that if I do it, it might not be light enough for me to haul around Animazement.

make it inflatable?
find several inflatable melon shapes and cover it with vinyl and odd tubing? I can't remember what the end looks like so that's all i can suggest right now...

http://www.gamingmatrix.com/kofonlin.../2k1K99999.gif He's a character from The King of Fighters (2001 and 2002 to be exact). K9999 is based off of Tetsuo from Akira, with the same voice actor and... mutated arm. I have to shut myself up from blabbering on too much about him. ^^; (If it was Shingo, I'd NEVER shut up.) |

How big do you think you want to make it? I mean do ya want it do drag on the floor or not? Do you wan't its diameter to be bigger than a soccer ball? I think you could make a bag like thing out of cloth and sew it to your shirt. In the bag add stuffing. Wrap wire around the bag to create the poping out lumps or add pocket like things on the side of the bag and stuff them as well. Decorate it with rubber tube/pipes and wires. This is really all I can think of I hope this helps. I just had an epiphany. For the lumps on the arm you can put 1/2 foam balls painted or have cloth covering them then glue them on. Again I hope this helps.

I forget to say that your arm would go in the bag and might even be attached again inside some how maybe with elastic? Good luck.

Thanks, Allia! That's sort of what I was thinking for it too once I posted it. ^^; I don't want it to drag too much, so that would be good too..... I've never worked with wire before, so, I'll either taking either the foam or pocket method. ^^ These are helping me a lot with the planning of what to do..
