Soul Calibur II

Since this game just hit arcades here in the US, I was wondering if anyone's planning any costumes from it? (Or the first two Soul games for that matter) I don't plan on doing one personally, though I'd like to. Unfortunatly all my favorite characters' costumes are a bit too skimpy for me to do comfortably right now. But I am definetly interested to see other people do Calibur costumes!

oh, i loooooove soul caliber...ever since it was "soul blade" and the ps1, i have been obessed with taki. Now that the new "soul cal" is out, i have a burning desire to cosplay as taki in her secondary outfit. the new game looks great, and i was soooo excited when my boyfriend told me it was in our mall arcade. If we ever save enough money, lilly and i want to do ivy and taki.

Wai, glad to see a few peeps are interested at least!!

Haruka, Taki is definetly one of my favorite characters in the game, too! Although I do like her first player costume in SCII better than her secound one. It just seems more...HER, you know? But it's kewl you wanna cosplay her regardless!

I definetly hope to run into all you guys when you do these at cons! ^_^

yeah, the only thing i was a little dissapointed in was the fact that they took taki's mask away T_T it was sooo cool..and ninja-like. ah well, she can still wip ass with out it ^_^

I'm already working on the pattern for my cousins Cervante's outfit. If we make it, this will be our 3rd one. The jacket is going to oh so much fun to sew!...LOL

You could try the official site for pics, http://www.soulcalibur.com/ Though they don't have as many as would be nice.

DCM, http://members.aol.com/deathcom5/, will have some high quality ones up eventually but not as of yet.

Daala, both his Cervantes costumes at the last 2 Otakons were great! Definetly looking forward to the next one!
